Fuel Cutoff

I thought as soon as it goes into limp mode, it doesn't let you accelerate fast anymore and it just feels like the engine's "holding back"?

After each incident, I didn't push the car anymore, just cruised back to the pits at much lower RPMs, so I don't think I can say if it let me accelerate hard anymore.
