Default Cutoff swith, need help?

On my old 300zx i wired a fuel cutoff switch to basically cut fuel to the engine with a switch on the interior to prevent theft. (poor mans alarm, but never fails) I've seen it with directions on other sites but none for the 370z yet. The wire cuts off the fuel pump manually, I don't have an owners manuel and need to know where and which wire it is??? or any ideas?

I've had one of those on my Miata for 15 years now. Works like a charm---you have to depress the lighter to be able to start the car. Cost me about $35 and a few bucks for the fellow to install. I'd like to have one put on my new Z but I'm hesitant because the Z seems so much more complicated and sophisticated. I'm anxious to read what the guys here say.

Have you downloaded the service manual yet? I would check the electrical section there and just see what sort of wiring is easily accessible and is also a requirement for starting.

I would get an alarm install by a professional shop instead of messing with the electrical system myself. But that is me, I'm not good with electrical system in these new cars.

On old cars that was easy to do, I always had one for the fuel and battery.

Isn't the car impossible to start without the FOB?
