I'm installing mine now. Have question. Does the cross over line get hooked back up to the OEM pump?

Give yourself a day to do it. I'm taking pictures of my install. Will post up, once I'm done.

Which line now? There's three of them to be clear. One of the feeds will feed the OEM pump though.

The stock metal line with the black hose that used to go on the side of the OEM pump on the passenger side.

I'd have to see a pic. I don't have my notes with me.

Don't you guys have a revised version that Phunk came up with later?

Rusty 11-24-2012 03:29 PM

You have PM. :tiphat:

I got that. But it doesn't say about hooking it back up.

Hey guys sorry I didn't realize there were posts here until last night.

Rusty: Feel free to call or text me if you have any other questions at any time. The stock siphon hose does get reconnected, it's the second sentence in Section 6 of the installation! (edit; ooops, third sentence).

I had printed out your instructions. Some how the page with the siphon hose on it ended up in the last section. And SPOHN helped me out. What I got left to do is the wiring. And I hate wiring. :shakes head:

Is there an FI version of this available yet?

phunk 11-26-2012 03:24 PM

Well, it is available, but it is currently untested. I have the utmost confidence in it, but there is a slight buyer-beware simply due to the fact that it has not yet been proven.

What type of power are you running? Gasoline or E85?

ENT-Z 11-27-2012 09:35 PM

I don't even have boost yet, just getting my ducks in a row. I have a turbo kit on order. I would expect around 500 whp, 400 lbs ft torque on gasoline, not e85.

phunk 11-27-2012 11:30 PM

You could probably run that type of power on the normal unit that's already out there in use. 500whp gasoline is well in the limits of the walbro 255.

ENT-Z 11-28-2012 09:09 PM

Cool thanks. I will be in touch when it is time to purchase!
