agree there! 380-400 whp is REALLLYYYYY stretching it on the power. I don't think with just an exhaust and a cam he is pushing that much AT ALL! He doesn't have any other mods besides that? IMO that's just not going to get a 2000 Camaro to that hp level.

No, I actually didn't read the whole thread... hard to believe that with an exhaust an a cam it would pull that much hp though. If his friend's car is 200 lbs more and he himself is a rather large 400 lbs though even with the 40 or 50 hp he may have on him may not be enough to overcome that amount of extra weight. I would say it would be a rather close race. Was his friends a MT or AT?

If the camaro is running DR on a stock 10 bolt he's running a huge chance of blowing his rear. My buddy went though 3 rear ends in a matter of 1.5 years and that was in a 3rd gen with a 305 making like a little over 200 hp.
V8Killer do u know all the mods the camaro has done to it? |

My 2000 Camaro with intake, exhaust and cam, put over 400 to the wheels. And it was a BABY cam.
