You know how expensive it is to build and maintain a dragway. Have you seen how much it is to repave your driveway? Add concrete wall on each side of the strip, EMTs. Track sweeper, insurance and all the other BS. Good luck finding a town that will let you do it fast and furious style, especially after the first accident.

Well almost every other state has several drag strips and race courses and we have none. So I guess its not that big of a deal.

Theres one for sale uphere in Ontario Canada.
they were asking 1.2 million Cnd for it lst year
St thomas Dragway sparta ontario canada.
Its open but nit sure if the owner took it back.
