official 1/4 mile track times

All this track talk is depressing

What a hot, crowded, mess. Temp. at track must have been 130+. Bottom of my sneakers were melting. Over 300 cars entered(most were bracket 3-mine) jet cars, & tons of people. They changed their mind about elimination. Decided on practice runs only. I got only one at 1pm. When bracket racing in hot summer time, I take it easy on the car. Just want consisted times. For me 12.8s or 12.9s are perfect dial in times. My run was 12.92 @ 107.3 perfect. The new trans. was amazing. It feels so great not using 2 hand to shift into second

. Tomorrow they expect thosands of people. I don't want to go back. Heat, changing tires, waiting on line to get in, hours of traffic coming home, & competing against apx. 150? cars. I got to be crazy to go back to Atco tomorrow
