Forged Performance @ Road Atlanta 4/16-4/17

Hey guys!

Come hang out with the Forged Performance Motorsports Team this weekend at Road Atlanta, in Brasselton, GA just 1 hour north of downtown Atlanta! We will be at the track all day Saturday and Sunday for the High Performance Driver's Education event hosted by Chin Motorsports. Sharif will have full access to the track in all run groups so feel free to ask him for a ride! For those of you that haven't been to this track, it is one of the country's premier professional racing circuits and world-renowned for it's challenging elevation changes, corner variety and very high top speeds. The Forged GT-R sees nearly 170mph, GPS confirmed, on the back straight! We'll be out testing new parts on the Forged Performance Porsche GT3, and we will be running our Time Attack GT-R and our 2011 Subaru WRX STi. Customers, friends, and other enthusiasts attending the event are welcome to paddock near our hauler which we usually locate up front near the hospitality chalet.

We've just finished replacing all the sloppy rubber bushings in the vehicle with new, monoball or solid bushings. We're hoping to see some significant results from this additional solidity.

Great...please feel free to paddock with us. We are usually up front near the bleachers and the Discovery parts trailer. It's also close to the restroom which is an added bonus!

I'd really like to take the time to give a big thanks to Forged Perfromance today for there great hospitality at Road Atlanta. They invited anyone to come and hang out and even go for a ride in there GTR. I have to tell you, that GTR is a bad a$$ ride. I could not believe how quickly it accelerated along with the braking on that baby. Man, Sharif can drive like no one I've ever been with. He has some super mad skills. It was truely an amazing experience for myself and my dad. Again, the braking on that car is out of this world. He came down from 160 to what I believe was around 50 in a couple of seconds. I wonder at times when he was going to brake. It was crazy isane.

Then unfortunately a finder bender. The mustang hit the BMW after a brake issue, so it was told. But no one was hurt.

you left too early! I went to the bathroom and you were gone and I was gonna see if you wanted to ride with me, even though it would be nothing like riding with Sharif!

Yea, we kind of just shot out. I had to get to my meds. I started feeling bad quickly and I didn't bring them with me. I usually can hold out till the evening, but not this time. Sorry for not saying bye. I would of loved to of rode with you though. It would of gave me a more realistic view of what I have

. I won't be back tomorrow as much as I wish I could. Enjoy your self though.

Mike: Were you at Road Atlanta last month for a BMW club track event during the rain soaked weekend? I came down with a friend from Nashville and was hoping to see some Nissan's run at the track. I only saw two all weekend and one was a black 370....looked similar to your signature. I kept looking for the owner, but all I could find was the car sitting in the paddock with no one around.

that was me, probably hiding in a dry place!
