You kind of answered your own question with your last sentence. If your front tires are equally or more worn, I'd just replace the rears as well. If the front or rear had significantly more tread than the other (eg 2/32 vs 6/32), you could consider just swapping one axle. I think having 9/32 up front and 2/32 in the rear is going to give you some strange handling sensations.
