Recommend me a good helmet.

I think the HJC helmets are a pretty good fit. Arai's are nice also for the handmade finish, they just fit my face funny.

Do not take anyone's advice on what FITS the best...It is 100% personal preference and varies greatly from person to person.

I have worn numerous different manufacturer helmets and my personal favorite is the HJC. However, my Dad can't stand it. It doesn't fit his head well.

A short list of just some of the helmets I've owned over the years:

Simpson
Impact
Bell
Arai
HJC
Shoei
I've forgotten a few more but I know I've tried three or four other brands as well.

None of them fit me as well as the HJC does. In fact, I liked the HJC helmet so much that I bought another one for my sportbike riding helmet.

With that being said, you have to go to your local motorcycle or racing store and try them on. Try on different brands, different sizes, remove some of the inner padding and see what it feels like. All that matters when purchasing a helmet is that it meets the most recent crash testing standards...beyond that, name brand does not mean anything...

One thing I would highly recommend is getting a helmet that offers ventilation. Ventilation is very important and can help a lot when you're pushing hard. There is nothing worse than feeling suffocated in your own helmet.
