Depends on how much pad you have left and if they have deformed or not. There should be wear bars on the pad that will indicate if you have a safe amount of pads left. I wouldn't go lower than eighth of inch of good pad.

Check your pads after each event, its literally the one thing you can't have wear out! As soon as my pads get to 6mm or less its time for new ones.

The stock pads seem to be good for the life of the car. I changed mine out at 60k and they still had the same amount of meat as the ones I replaced them with.

they're pretty solid but they seem to fade after a little bit of hard driving. I think i'm going to get endless pads next

1. Did you change brake fluid to fluid that has a high temp rating?

2. Are they track rated pads?

Also purchased a detailed motorsport course to dial in the suspension properly. Nice

Local course or is it online? Is there a website?

Online course. But it comes with access to their member's only forum where you can ask questions specific to your application. The guys working for this company are motorsport engineers/professionals that do this for a living. So who better to ask than these guys?!

I typically stay away from stuff like this because I usually know most of what they are preaching but what sold me was their free live 2 hour course to give you a "taste" of what they have to offer. Immediately, I knew this was worth the money. I think I only paid $90 for their package for black friday.

Best books I have found, even though they are old the fundamentals and physics never change.

How to Make Your Car Handle Paperback – Illustrated, January 1, 1976
by Fred Puhn

Drive to Win: Essential Guide to Race Driving First Edition
by Carroll Smith

Best websites I have found.
Car Suspension Tuning Guide| Rapid-Racer.com.
Autocross to Win (DGs Autocross Secrets) - Suspension
Race & Track Driving (formerly Win HPDE)

Find a shop that knows race cars. The fundamentals are pretty much the same. The witchcraft is in the details as each car is unique to its self as well as your driving style. Find one or two pros and listen to the only as too many cooks in the kitchen will spoil the meal.

Talk about opposite ends of the spectrum. Change out those pads bro. They will overheat and fade long before the fluid. You're just wasting that expensive SRF by using it with stock pads :twocents:

gotcha! I just replaced lines so thats why i had that fluid in there cause i needed to fill it anyway, and has a higher boiling point than rbf 660.

also, should I replace front and rear, or just front?

any pads you recommend?
