Default Were the max file sizes for uploaded pictures lowered?

I was trying to upload a .jpg in a regular thread reply and it said the picture was over the max file size, where in the past I've uploaded larger pictures than the current limit. Were the limits changed recently?

There is a definite issue left from last weeks server power outage that AK needs to look at like I mentioned already in another thread.

All I can ask is to Please have some patience, and AK will get it resolved asap.

Uploading features take away lot of bandwidth sources from this website so I use imgur.com which is the simple picture uploading site and You can upload picture through there and crop/resize them. I find it 600px=width is the best size for vbulletin boards.
