I didn't mean from other Z sites, I meant from other 370Z sites!

As for similarities w/ other car forums such as my350z or myg37, yes it is because it uses the same idea; that is the outline of the car.
The idea of using the outline of the car as your car club's image has been around for a lot longer than the 350Z has been.
