I suggest that some number of members who lurk here during the day be deputized to delete spam posts, or that the site be set to automatically delete the post

dealing with spam
I suggest that some number of members who lurk here during the day be deputized to delete spam posts, or that the site be set to automatically delete the post of and ban a member if enough paying members report a post as spam and the spam poster has less than so many lifetime posts. There could even be some sort of human or bot challenge to make sure the spam accusation isn't unwarranted.
