I'd second Melting Pot on Westhiemer. It's well within your budget assuming you don't go crazy on bottles of wine/champagne, and it's a pretty romantic place. If you've been there

I'd second Melting Pot on Westhiemer. It's well within your budget assuming you don't go crazy on bottles of wine/champagne, and it's a pretty romantic place. If you've been there a few times it gets kinda kitschy and cliche after a while, but for a first trip or three it's pretty awesome. Another good option would be Sambuca Jazz Cafe downtown, especially if they happen to have a good live act on the night in question. Awesome food and atmosphere there.
