You do not really "chip" a Z, here are your two options:
~Tune: You keep the factory ECU and you use a program to alter the programing (Uprev or Cobb AP).
~Crazy expensive ECU replacement: Currently the only option is from companies in Japan and basically you get a blank ECU and start from the ground up setting your parameters.

Not sure about Hypertech & what they do, but Cobb & Uprev both are more of a wipe & replace system with the ability to return to factory if needed.

K&N is a filter brand, they released an intake system but it is pretty "meh." You will need to look for true cold air intake systems, Stillen/Injen/AEM.
