I have to say, I think he's right - and I love this car. Unless you are sponsored, if you are willing to do $9.5K on brakes and $10K on suspension, you would almost always be better off doing a vehicle upgrade.

Nice brakes though!

yes it is a lot of money and to tell the truth i wouldnt buy these either but for those extreme JDM whores its a definite buy

At those prices, a brakes and suspension upgrade gets you a Cayman S which doesn't necessarily need either and won't cost you an oil cooler in addition.
