RvP a long time ago said his dream was to play for Arsenal or Barcelona. He was a kid back then, but I'd like to think he's living his dream right now. He could stay. Poldi is a good start, but we need more. If Kroenke opens up the war chest for AW, we could strengthen and be challengers. We are better organized than Man City, and we've proven even with a **** squad we can hang with them. |

Yeah, the new guys definitely needed time to mesh this season, and still do next year. I don't think Gervinho ever got into very good form. Mertesacker got injured, unfortunately. Arteta did really well, as did Chamberlain as the season went on. I like seeing Spanish style in the midfield: maybe it reminds me of Fabregas a bit ![]() I'm excited to see us compete w/ both Manchester teams next season. As long as Wenger is more organized and settled w/ his squad, we should be able to beat any team in the league. |
