Every time I see the Adidas commercial with Zizou, I get a bit sad.

:(

phelan 06-13-2010 02:19 PM

germany is spanking australia lol

Four more goals for Klose & he ties Ronaldo for most all time.

Red370 06-13-2010 02:33 PM

Poor Aussies :'(

Klose doesnt miss with the head does he? Although this Australian side isnt all that great, Germany is looking dangerous, might make a deep run this year, may even challenge for the title.

YouTube - South Korea fixed games 2002 World cup

You can say that about every match..soccer players are the worlds best floppers..S Korea is not known for their physical play so its kind of funny to see a utube clip with them taking people down...more power to them..haha

wishihadnav 06-13-2010 03:09 PM

Whoa Germany looks great!!

Red370 06-13-2010 03:09 PM

heres the question I have, how many of the Germans are ACTUAL Germans? I see a Brazilian, a few Turks, a Pole, and a whole bunch of un german sounding last names...

wishihadnav 06-13-2010 03:17 PM

I'm sure they are all German nationals/citizens..besides the africans and asians it seems like a lot of countries have players from different nations...whatever it takes to win..haha

Red370 06-13-2010 03:19 PM

oh and whadya know, the two non germans are the ones booked for diving, Turk and a Brazilian :rofl2:

I'm more talking about the poor refereeing decisions. They first half of the video was against Italy, so of course there was diving.

Ozil is German. He was born to Turkish parents in Gelsenkirchen.

not saying they arent, Onyewu is a Nigerian, Altidore is a haitian...

Khedira, Gomez, Ozil, Cacau, Klose, all born of foreign parents. I made a comment about how the former "master" race isnt the majority makeup of the national team anymore, they remind me of the US team.

I'm not blaming the team, I'm saying they're overrated based off the achievement of reaching the semifinals in 2002.
