The Patriots in December/January are always a completely different team than in September. If they can get all of their players (Gronk, Amendola, Vereen) back healthy and have them stay healthy the offense should be a lot better. If the rookies can get decent chemistry developed with Brady by then too, we'll be even better.

The other issue that no one really talks about is how bad our running game is. If we could get decent production on tje ground, it may help the passing game. I think part of that is because of the defenses we've played. Even Doug Martin was limited by the Jets last week.

b1adesofcha0s 09-13-2013 08:40 AM

We should find out what they are capable of early in the stretch of week 4-6 where we play the Falcons, Bengals, and Saints. Should have Gronk back for those games which will help a lot. He is like unstoppable in the red zone, where we are absolutely terrible right now.

Can Vereen come back? Which IR is he on?

He's done for the year I thought?

Chuck33079 09-13-2013 08:48 AM

Me too, but they could have put him on the designated to return IR.

Haboob 09-13-2013 08:50 AM

:rofl2:

They could give him one of those giant casts for his hand, and just put some tar on it to make it sticky so he can hold the ball. :ugh2:

Chuck33079 09-13-2013 08:52 AM

Has anyone retired recently that Belicheck could call up? They've had pretty good luck with old, discarded players.

Haboob 09-13-2013 08:55 AM

Randy Moss is still out there somewhere... :bowrofl:

b1adesofcha0s 09-13-2013 09:21 AM

Vereen can come back week 11.

when asked how you gonna pay the fine randy if you don't right cheques?

"straight cash homie, straight cash.......10 grand, man what's 10 grand to me" - randy moss

dmhenderson 09-13-2013 10:36 AM

Go get TO and Randy Moss and put them on the same team. Then laugh as the black hole created by their personalities being in the same vicinity swallows the sun.

madwi 09-15-2013 02:25 PM

Ravens game is painful to watch. Not very much excitement going on.

LMBmikeZ 09-15-2013 03:30 PM

GB was all over Washington!

madwi 09-15-2013 03:31 PM

Come on Lions, its Az. we can do this!

b1adesofcha0s 09-15-2013 03:33 PM

GL
I think AZ will do better then normal with the addition of Carson Palmer

madwi 09-15-2013 04:01 PM

I just hope our running game can keep up the steam, if we can do that good, our passing game should help us out. At least that is my hopes lol

madwi 09-15-2013 04:03 PM

F* Our D needs to step up and stop some of these plays.

madwi 09-15-2013 04:10 PM

F*k me, Reggie Bush better not be hurt!

madwi 09-15-2013 05:05 PM

Interception Touchdown! Go Lions :D

madwi 09-15-2013 06:12 PM

G* dammit, freakin AZ

Nismo89 09-15-2013 06:57 PM

5 sacks for our defense, not too happy with our offense. glad we got the win but we really need help at WR for sure.

b1adesofcha0s 09-15-2013 07:11 PM

Denver still looks like the team to beat in the AFC.

surprising you say?

let me throw some facts at ya lol

since 2011 the panthers are now 2-14 in games decided by 7 points or less

and under ron rivera they have now lost 10 games when leading in the 4th Q

thats mind blowing and talk about the definition of a heartbreaker team

also I hate the redskins lost but I guess the reality is RGIII and Cam are now both pocket quarterbacks

didn't manage to stay up late enough to finish watching the San Fran game :shakes head:

For a long time (minus the delay) it was boring. Then SF just kept kicking themselves with penalty after penalty, then they'd force something and turn it over.

dmhenderson 09-16-2013 08:41 AM

Dungy and some of the other hyenas on ESPN are calling for Cousins to start in front of RG3. These people are apparently on crack.

Ok I get that RG3 still has limited mobility. Do you really believe that Cousins is going to give you a better chance to win in pure passing situations than Griffin does because if so, you're an idiot.

Hey, here's an idea. Stop giving up 14 points a quarter and maybe you can be competitive. Nah, better not. Let's blame RG3 for the loss o_O

Haboob 09-16-2013 08:48 AM

I don't think RG3 is 100% yet, he's not very comfortable right now. It will take time to get his confidence back for sure.

However, I don't mind them losing. :p

dmhenderson 09-16-2013 09:01 AM

Not playing isn't going to help his situation. If he's healthy, he needs to play. The entire NFC east lost yesterday so I wouldn't gloat too much there buddy.

No gloating, I'm just saying I wouldn't mind his form continuing like this.

This. Even if Cousins did play better than RG3 right now, it doesn't matter. The only way RG3 is going to feel more comfortable again is with more playing time. Sitting on the bench absolutely won't do that.

Some defense would help as well.

Chuck33079 09-16-2013 10:14 AM

Not feeling good about our kicker so far this year

Nice BS no-call on the hemet to helmet on Andre.

Absolutely shocked Schaub managed to pull this one out. I thought he schaubed himself with that pick 6.

Chuck33079 09-16-2013 02:00 PM

**** **** **** Andre got a concussion. Not a surprise, but taking away Schaub's go-to guy is a recipe for disaster.

All I gotta say is everyone ALWAYS underestimates the Hawks especially at home.. All the hawks haters that filled my newsfeed on FB got real quiet after last nights game. I also recall a home game last season where we decimated the niners too.. Just sayin

I've never heard anyone underestimate them at home. Seattle is the toughest place to go to and win.

Xplicit97 09-16-2013 02:59 PM

I guess that came out wrong.. I more meant I don't see how anyone can doubt them or talk smack when they're playing at home. . Seahawks did win 9 preseason games too, yea that's preseason but it still accounts for something. The Hawks will not be a team to be reckoned with this season
