I....I....I....I got nothing haha

Rooster89 12-30-2012 10:33 PM

At least the giants didn't take the NFC East! and besides, I respect the hell out of RG3. A stand up guy.

MC 12-30-2012 10:35 PM

i sort of hate to see the seahawks and redskins paired against each other next week as those would both be my NFC teams im pulling for in the playoffs.

The question is, who has the edge?

m4a1mustang 12-30-2012 10:43 PM

It ain't gonna happen tonight, Rooster, so quit trying. :p

I'm going to say the Seahawks have the edge next week. I think they can be more explosive offensively than the Skins can. Going to be fun to watch regardless.

Just having fun :)

Honestly, at this point, I might give the edge to skins. Because watching that offense tonight just grind away the defense agonizing yard after agonizing yard, showed how methodical and surgical-if not explosive- the skins are.

However, Seattle's defense is prolly going to be the best D the skins will have faced since the bye week.

b1adesofcha0s 12-30-2012 11:42 PM

Tony Chokemo living up to his name tonight :p

Can't be throwing those picks with your top 2 receivers injured. The real hero of this game was Alfred Morris with 200 yds rushing and 3 TD's. As far as next week goes, I'd give the edge to the Seahawks. They can be just as explosive on offense, but have a MUCH better defense......which should be even better since they get Brandon Browner back at CB. It will be an exciting match up for sure, but these are the 2 NFC teams I'm rooting for in the playoffs. Though as long as the 49ers don't make it to the SB I'll be happy.

b1adesofcha0s 12-30-2012 11:48 PM

I can't wait for the NFL QB's on FB tomorrow. They got a lot of good material from this game :icon17:

Rules are rules.

With the Giants out of the playoffs, I think the Patriots can actually win this year :icon17:

I sure am glad the Giants are out. Yes, the Pats can win now. In fact, anyone can now. The Giants always scare me in a winner-take-all game.

Yup, Im gonna swallow my pride and say the patriots beat our azzes last night. No way to sugarcoat it.

b1adesofcha0s 12-31-2012 08:58 AM

So the Jaguars and Jets so far have fired their GM's. Rex Ryan is still staying for another year. Andy Reid, Norv Turner, and Pat Shurmur are all expected to be fired today as well.

It was a lot closer than it seemed. You guys just couldn't finish your drives to get any points.

MJB 12-31-2012 08:59 AM

Its about time Norv Turner is fired. That guy just isn't a good head coach. Offensive coordinator yes.

MJB 12-31-2012 09:03 AM

I want to see the Packers vs Patriots in the Superbowl! Rematch of Superbowl 31! I still remember that game, even still have the VHS tape from when I recorded it. (I'm a Pack fan)

I would love to see that. Brady taking down Manning in the AFC Championship and Rodgers in the Super Bowl. Would be an epic Super Bowl match up.

m4a1mustang 12-31-2012 09:13 AM

I'm pulling for Denver to make it to the SB. NFC I have no clue what's going to happen there.

b1adesofcha0s 12-31-2012 09:16 AM

I can see the Seahawks going all the way in the NFC. If RG3 was healthier, I think the Skins would have a better chance. I don't care what happens in the NFC as long as the 49ers lose.

:iagree:

as long as the 49ers lose

m4a1mustang 12-31-2012 09:21 AM

Yep I think Seattle is the biggest threat. I agree on RG3. He's not 100%. But if Morris can play like he did last night I think we have a chance.

Regardless, a 10-6 record and winning the division is a big deal for the Skins. We have something we can build on. Making it to the playoffs this year is just a nice treat.

b1adesofcha0s 12-31-2012 09:28 AM

Crazy to think that half the teams in the playoffs are led by 1st or 2nd year QB's. 3 rookie QB's (Luck, RG3, Wilson), 3 sophomore QB's (Ponder, Dalton, Kaepernick), 3 elite QB's (Brady, Manning, Rodgers), 1 good QB (Ryan), and 2 bums (Flacco and Schaub) :icon17:

fix'd

MJB 12-31-2012 09:40 AM

The Seahawks? No way. They are really strong at home, but they'll be on the road in the playoffs. Honestly, I think Atlanta is going to make it.

Looks like NFL has released Home/Away opponents list for 2013 season. Patriots appear to have a really tough schedule. Here are the highlights for the Patriots in 2013:

Home: Steelers, Saints (finally get to see Brady vs Brees), and Broncos (Brady vs Manning continues)

Away: Ravens (will try to go to this game), Bengals, Falcons, Panthers, Texans

Opponents set for 2013 NFL season - NFL.com

They've been doing better on the road since Wilson has been on a roll. They have the best defense in the NFL. I don't think Atlanta will do much. They actually tried to win this past game and lost to the Bucs, while also getting John Abraham and Asante Samuel injured :shakes head:

Well I live near Seattle so I got to hear my co-workers run their mouths all day at work :icon17:. Besides all they talk about is how they got screwed by the refs that year they made it against the Steelers :bowrofl:

b1adesofcha0s 12-31-2012 09:55 AM

I think they're even with that now :rofl2:

Black Monday continues with Lovie Smith and Romeo Crennel getting fired.

m4a1mustang 12-31-2012 09:57 AM

What a rough year for RC. Gets to watch his player commit suicide and then gets fired.

I hope Gruden comes back so he can stop annoying me on MNF.

Dude, we just sucked.. no way around it, your offense just shredded our defense, you would think as many times as the dolphins and patriots play we would know to cover welker, gronkowski, and hernandez within 15 to 20 years of the line of scrimage.

My dolphins recieve the infamous

They are saying that Gruden is strongly looking into another head coaching job this season.

Well it was snowing and the Patriots are unstoppable in the snow. It's really tough to cover Welker, Gronk, and Hernandez, but now you have to throw Brandon Lloyd into the mix as well as a strong running game. On top of that you have one of the greatest QB's ever throwing them the ball. That's why we are and have been the #1 offense all season. The key to beating the Pats is simple, get to Brady, but that's much easier said than done. Our defense played really well too getting 7 sacks on the day, 1 INT, and a fumble recovery at the goal line.

b1adesofcha0s 12-31-2012 10:14 AM

Man I literally have to wait until the last divisional round game to see my team play again. Pats play Sunday January 13th at 4:30 PM.

eastwest2300 12-31-2012 10:16 AM

You were also up against a rookie quarterback and a shakey offensive line...

Have you seen how bad our defense has been over the past 2 years? :bowrofl:

One_Quick_Z 12-31-2012 10:33 AM

Lovie Smith is gone, now the Bears better get an offensive minded head coach with a playbook that has more than three plays.
