Guys I know the Chiefs are bad but suicide is not the answer!
|
|
Damn... 25 years old. Jovan Belcher
|
Chiefs LB Jovan Belcher shot and killed his girlfriend at 8 a.m. this morning, then proceeded to the Chiefs training facility and shot himself, committing suicide in front of GM Scott Pioli and head coach Romeo Crennel

 what a nut case

Oh god it just got more f'ed up. So not only did he off himself in front of Crennel and the GM but he murdered his girlfriend in front of his mother and 3 month old son
|
His mom was in town visiting them I guess to see the baby.
|
Oh god, that's terrible. So sad to hear. :shakes:

I just can't understand why they are playing the game today. Trust me I was shocked when I heard the news.
My guess is that with the stress of them having a horrible season, we the fans and a new born was to much to handle. I know some women go through issues after they give birth. I just wonder if that was why they were arguing the night before and up until he shot her. Then he drove to the practice facility and thanked them for giving him a chance and took his own life in front of them. |
I think they should have at least delayed the game for a day or something. Maybe it just helps them not have to think about it.

on a lighter note:
Ravens-Steelers, 4:25 pm, Coming to our house! M&T! Gates will be locked, blood will be shed, hits will be dealt. Slugfest. Game on! on a side note: .Dear Tom Brady..... i hope Miami Kicks your a$$ (lol) |

Are you serious? Some dude selfishly offs himself and the rest of the team should suffer? Of course they're still playing today. I'm sure there will be a moment of silence but let's not martyr this guy. He murdered his wife in front of his mother and then took the coward's way out. |

them and the Texans..... you guys can lay an egg as well :p |

That being said though, I think playing the game can also be a good way to help keep what happened out of their minds and continue on with their everyday lives. It was the team's decision to keep playing the game today, so they must be ok with it. I don't think all the players were happy with that decision though. |

On the same note not only were two lives lost but one will have to begin without a mother or father because of his actions. Also the mother never seen him do it. She was in the other room. Get your facts straight before you go off on someone. They are currently playing like I ahve never seen them play all year. Even some of the players wanted to put his number on their helmets but was told they were not allowed due to his own actions. |

Sanchez finally gets benched and his backup throws a TD! Wonder if this means we'll see Tebow when his ribs heal.

I hope the Rams pull off the upset over the Niners.

I could see Tebow going to Jacksonville. Their new owner really liked him and could get him if he really wanted too. Gabbert has not made any progress.
