I didn't expect the 49ers to beat the Pats at home, so I didn't even realize until today that the Broncos may possibly get homefield advantage and the bye! Suddenly I am feeling a whole lot more optimistic about their chances against the Pats.

The Pats and the Broncos are playing some pretty dreadful teams in the next couple of weeks...

Short week for the Pats and back to back games against the top 2 defenses, not too surprising. What was surprising was that absolute terrible first half. I mean we played like the freaking Jets in the first half! :shakes head:

Man Tebow could have been a completely servicable TE/fullback and the media circus completely ruined him.

To be fair, by Jets standards he could be a servicable QB. Sanchez has sucked long and hard, at least Tebow has a knack for firing up his offense.

He's still a better QB than Sanchez. With a QB coach, he can still develop into a halfway decent passer. I'd take Tebow as my QB over some of the other derp QB's starting right now. He'd be an improvement at starting QB for the Jets, Jaguars, Cardinals, Chiefs, and maybe Browns/Raiders too. His stats might be ugly, but he can make plays and win games which is all that matters in the end.

News out of NY says that Sanchez will not be starting this week. Wonder if they will give the start to Tebow or McElroy. I'd give Tebow the start just so they could try and hopefully build up some trade value for him. Send Tebow to the Jaguars, they need the boost in ticket sales anyway.

Edit: Jags would have been a great fit for Tebow. He's a local legend and jersey sales would have gone through the roof. I'm afraid that ship has sailed now though.

I wouldn't say the Jags ship has sailed. Blaine Gabbert has sucked pretty bad this season and got benched for Chad Henne. Don't know whether or not they're gonna move forward with him as their starter next season. Also, don't forget that the Jags' new owner loves Tebow.

At this point they're just punting. We should be thankful they didn't continue their "playoff run" or we'd have to sit through this sh*t for another year

Also just a reminder that the Jags ACTIVELY tried to get Tebow to come there over NY and he turned them down flat. They even offered him more money than the Jets.

I think they will start Tebow just to see if he's worth keeping for next season.

Reports saying that Jets may look to trade Sanchez in the off season. One name that's coming up as a possible replacement is Michael Vick. He said he would go to the Jets if Sanchez was gone.

I don't think Vick to the Jets would be that bad of a move, still a huge upgrade over Sanchez. That is of course as long as he stays healthy.....which probably won't be much.
