We've got to get the regular officials back. And what a game for Torrey Smith. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2 |
Glad Torrey Smith had a nice game, but these refs have got to go. They had no idea WTF they were doing the whole game.

great game for Torrey but i agree with the banishing of the refs, clearly no clue what they are doing out there. its tragic, BUT i will say 31-30 Ravens Win, final second field goal, what a win, i was jumping up and down like crazy insane.
the Team is now 30-1 while i wear my Jersey! |

Refs were bad with calls (or non-calls) against both the Pats and Ravens.
People say to me that it's no big deal since both teams are playing under the same bad officiating, but it does matter. These calls all effect the game. Had a decent set of refs been in that game, who knows, maybe the result stays the same, but the game would have been much different. That's what is frustrating. We all know we're not seeing the game as it is meant to be played. And pacing is a huge problem, too. The time wasted because reviews are so much more necessary makes it more boring to watch than baseball, and it gives defenses a chance to rest while possibly killing an offense's rhythm. Wish the NFL would just pay up, the greedy bastiches. |

This has gone beyond ridiculous and needs to be resolved ASAP. You know the real refs are probably laughing this up right now... I wonder if the replacements are on their payroll? ;) |
we never know what to expect from these "officials" at times (well the whole night last night) it seemed like they were just flagging anything and everything that moved

Oh man was that FG at the end close. I don't mind losing as much with a great game/finish like that. Refs had bad calls for both sides but I definitely felt like they were favoring the Ravens for most of the game. There were a lot of non calls for the Ravens in the 1st half. Towards the end there were some BS calls against the Ravens though. It's getting to the point where it's affecting the outcome of big games and potentially affecting the playoff/Super Bowl picture down the line.
I think the Patriots did pretty well on both sides of the ball last night. One thing I will say that went pretty unnoticed was that our offense took a big hit with Edelman injured for the second half. They weren't nearly as effective as they were in the first. He was having a really good game last night. Once we get Hernandez back, we should be a lot more explosive on offense. |
Also learned that my AFC championship t-shirt from last season is bad luck. We're 0-2 when I wear it with the Super Bowl and last nights game. Good thing I ordered a Brady jersey and hope it's better luck for us.

Or they bring out the chains to measure when they spot the ball at the 38 and 1st down is at the 41. Really, you can't see 3 yards without chains?

The KC "fumble" in OT shouldn't have required review. The RB was clearly down with possession and they didn't blow it dead initially. (1) his knee hit, (2) his elbow hit, (3) the ground can't cause a fumble. Call on the field: touchdown Play reversed, and we get the proper call ten minutes later and after the NO fans have been celebrating enough to have their hearts ripped out. |

You know it's bad when teams are planning to play more "dirty" because of these replacement refs. |
