Damn that sucked. It really looked like Denver was going to put together a comeback in the 4th but the defense couldn't stop Atlanta there at the end.

It's hard to come back from 4 turnovers in a quarter...seems like Manning is a bit rusty despite last week. Hopefully with that away game under his belt some of that rust has been brushed off. I really like Denver's defense and running backs, but Moreno has to take care of that ball!

And he was the first person to say he is still rusty. Its only week 2. Still a lot of football left. I think we'll hear a lot more from the Broncos as the season progresses.

I also hope this ref issue gets sorted out SOON. I'm tired of this crap!

I didn't see any stepping up on the Panthers' team. Maybe sitting down. :icon18:

So was their offense and special teams.

MC 09-21-2012 09:59 AM

this is true too

but being there thats the main thing that stood out to me...manning completed some of the easiest mid range 10-15 yard passes and no one was near the receivers its was almost laughable. but yeah panthers running game was bad they kept running the same play for no gain over and over and it was a collective sigh in the crowd.

there was also a lot more giants fans there than i would have thought...but they are a nationally popular team so makes sense

that fumble on the kick return was unbelievable.. it was actually fairly deep in the end zone and i didnt think the panther guy was even gonna run it out. bet he wished it didnt.

Yeah they seemed to be relying too much on just shutting down Cruz and kinda ignored everyone else (which sucks since I had Cruz and Manning on my fantasy team, damn you 1 yd TD runs :p). Barden and Brown had huge games that no one could have predicted.
