East is the better group of teams they just never seem to win the All star game for some reason....

Yeah it seems like everytime hes on the same floor with Kobe, he acts up. Maybe they have some rivalry going...who knows. lol

Howard is in his own funk because of the trade decision deadline, and he can't figure out what to do yet. Hes been on the fence about leaving, and hes probably most likely going to leave by the looks of it.

And the East never win because they never take it serious. Most players just wanna let the others get their glory, or dunks, or shots. Make it interesting for the fans, at some points I thought I was actually watching the Sprite Slam dunk contest. :icon17:

I really am loving Rose more and more. He is what a professional athlete should be like. Never giving up, always giving your all, and being a good role model.

Plus he wooped up the hornets with 32 pts, 9 assists, and 3 steals!

D Rose for MVP? this team is still on his back (ie. back problems :icon14:)

If they get the best record in the league again, i think he deserves it. And you know he plays actually good defense when as soon as he went out, every point guard we play had a career night.

Actually, I agree with DRose said, so far I would say Kevin Durant deserves MVP. but there is still another half of the season. and rose is looking better than ever. Boozer and Noah are starting to learn how to play with each other. Taj and Lu just amaze me with their versatility. So we shall see. Like I said tho, jury is still out on Rip.

The one thing Chicago is shining in this season is wins on the road. Their road streak is somewhere above 11 just like the Heat. I think teams that perform better on the road show more chemistry-teamwork, endurance, and durability, 3 key ingredients that the Bulls defitnetley have.

I grew up a Mavs fan as we didn't have a team, but when the Hornets came to NO, I decided to split loyalties & get behind my local team. I'll always be a fan of both, really (which is hard considering they're in the same division, but my reasons are logical).

well the upshot is the Mavs are looking a little bit like their old self now. Playing with more intensity. They resemble the team we saw closer to the playoffs last season now.

cow 02-29-2012 11:48 PM

I'm good with that "old self" & not the pre-2000 ""old self."

Looks like the masked man goes in on the Timberwolves, apparently Bryant got a broken nose and concussion from when D-Wade pounded him in the All Star game.

That was dumb choice by wade, who does that in an allstar game??

Wade has a lot of weight on him, and hes pretty strong, I don't think he intentionally meant to foul Kobe, but he sure did put a stop to him scoring. When I watched it live, I just saw Kobe rub his nose, didn't know it affected him all that much. :icon17:

nmjaxx9 03-01-2012 09:42 AM

Edit: Now that I think about it I remember seeing Kobe drawing blood, still thought it was just a bloody nose, but I guess Wade really fouled him hard.

Dude, Rose is the man. I've liked that kid since he hit the scene a couple years ago.

I'm pretty sure D.Wade said after the All-Star game that he wanted to throw a hard foul out there since he was fouled twice by Kobe then he back-tracked after he realized Kobe broke his nose and got a concussion.

LOL @ Lebron chocking again

Rose is good guy, I met him at a gym I play ball at and he's very laid back and easy going. He watched me play a league game which felt funny because usually i watch him :icon17: Chicagoans in general are very proud of him and what he's accomplished while staying humble and true to himself.

I also work accross the street from the Berto Center (where bulls practice) so i see them all here and there.

I explain it to my girl( a clevelander) like this:
Rose is Chicago's favorite son, dwayne wade is a one our "prodigal sons." He won't come back home as player, but I bet he will retire back in IL.

Jerseys/Basketball Tickets Anyone?

Just wondering where you NBA fans have or do purchase your jerseys from?

Im looking for an authentic Wade or Lebron jersey I had the old one, but need a new one as I plan to go watch the Heat soon.

I found this one for 89.99
http://nba.imageg.net/graphics/produ...p8365228dt.jpg

Also, where do you guys usually buy your tickets from, those of you who do go watch games, and around what time of the month do playoff tickets go on sale for this season? trying to jump on them as soon as possible.

So far Ive used ticketmaster.com and stubhub.com they have some games for Miami (American Airlines) until 4/22.

Rooster89 03-03-2012 08:03 AM

ticketmaster for tickets. nba.com for jerseys. most expensive but reliable.

Jasonle 03-03-2012 08:33 AM

Never been to a game cause St. Louis doesn't have a team.. never bought a jersey either.. but if i did get one. I really want a Wade jersey!

nmjaxx9 03-03-2012 10:34 AM

Yeah I was thinking either Lebron or Wade, Im prolly gonna order the Lebron one though. :D
