Yep the talk was how much depth OKC had vs any other opponent in the Post season. They made the Spurs question their bench. Now Miami has seemingly turned that around with their role players knocking down the buckets and their stars doing what they are supposed to do. OKC on the other hand have 2 stars doing what is needed and their role players and bench are coming up short. Harden has went ghost in this series. Like I said though I hope they can come out tonight and push the series back to OKC and make a run. At least make Miami have to get on a plane back to South Beach to celebrate instead of letting them win it in their own back yard.

Anyway, how in the hell you bring Michael Jackson into a basketball conversation... :shakes head:

I just rest my case that if people don't agree with you, you will attack them personally and this is just a civil conversation about sport.

I'm done with you!

Rooster89 06-21-2012 11:18 PM

I'm going to be that grumpy old man just like i was with the superbowl. Miami didn't win, OKC beat themselves. just like the packers beat themselves. smh

only reason miami even got to the finals was because derrick rose got injured. don't get used to it lebron. but i do begrudgingly give respect to the miami heat for winning the finals. And i do begrudgingly give the due respect to lebron james for finally getting a ring.

Good job miami.

Jasonle 06-21-2012 11:31 PM

Yes! Nice job Heat. Winning me $40 lol.

I think you forgot the beat down Miami put on the bulls last season. I actually did not enjoy it because it was not dramatic or entertaining enough and that is cause the Bulls went out in 5. I was hoping for a 7 game show down but Chicago is clearly a rung below Miami. I vaguely remember Rose's frustration after the game admitting how it sucks when a big guy like that can guard you so easily. Anyways thanks for the begrudging contrats. It's freaking awesome down here especially Hialeah lol.

nmjaxx9 06-22-2012 01:07 PM

Dude let it go who cares about the bulls?? Lol they were no where to be seen in the playoffs let alone the finals its all bout our team right now!! Heat ftw!!

very interested to see the Lakers progress this season, the chemistry with Howard, Bryant, Nash, Gasol, and the streets are buzzing with the name Darius Morris, we must see if he can add to team chemistry.

Caustic 10-31-2012 12:45 PM

What is up with OKC trading James Harden to Houston? OKC and James couldn't come to an agreement over a ~1 million a year difference? OKC just got weaker.

nmjaxx9 10-31-2012 01:54 PM

yeah but then again James hardens performance especially in the playoffs was WEAK. LOL

But the heat did give the celtics a good run last night, RA seems like he is liking his new team

I personally think James Harden is overrated. I am glad Chicago didn't go after him.

Yup. Eating my words.....yet again.

Ni55anPat 11-01-2012 05:07 PM

He's a beast. Always has been, no idea how you thought he was overrated, EVEN before his 1st game with the Rockets! :)

I thought on a team like the thunder, i could have put up his numbers.

LakeShow 11-01-2012 05:30 PM

Unbelievable Lakers 0-2. They will have to win Friday or its going to get really ugly. Mile Brown is such a terrible coach I might add.

I didn't want to say anything after the 37 and 12 because I think its just because its the beginning of the season. Harden is the first option now instead of a 6th man. Teams will key in on him, scouting reports will get detailed, his numbers will drop. Not saying he isn't a beast, but he could sort of fly under the radar in OKC because there were two other massive threats to deal with. But its also what made OKC deadly, after Durant and Westbrook were off the court, you had a replacement that is nearly as good, and can probably carry a team on his own. There was no let up on offensive pace. OKC trading Harden makes their return trip back to the Finals a harder road, and it simultaneously puts the Lakers in a better position to run them off that road.

It will be interesting to see where Harden is mid season.

Mike Brown is a terrible coach. LeBron carried him for years. All that talent on the Lakers can overwhelm many coaches. I think Brown may be in over his head.

Ni55anPat 11-03-2012 01:56 PM

0-3 start for the Lakers, loving it! :)

blue660r01 11-03-2012 05:47 PM

Knicks smoked Miami. Glad about that one.

blue660r01 11-09-2012 06:17 PM

So when Miami, Chicago, and LA are doing bad/mediocre the fans go hiding? Threw Miami in there for jaxx since NY beat them up :D

Ni55anPat 11-09-2012 06:26 PM

no chicago fan is hiding, we miss Rose.....were gonna lose close games, glad we are keeping up with the elite though
