I'm not a Lebron hater, but is proven that Lebron CANNOT do it by himself like he failed to do in Cleveland. He needs Wade, Bosch and others. ;)

Bird Jordan and Magic didn't do it by themselves.

That statement insults many Hall of Famers that were on the same roster.

I haven't heard one logical reason for all the hate for Lebron.

:icon18: healthy bulls team...you serious? Rose was completely gassed from carrying them the whole season/playoffs, Omar had broken foot, boozer had turf toe (though I guess it doesn't matter with him), noah has sprained ankle. and that's just health, lets not get into the fact that the whole rest of the team faded away in the spotlight.

Yes and i proudly admit that I think he is a moron. Pretty much every decision he makes is poor.

For example:
1. "the decision"
2. promising championships
3. mocking dallas last year with the coughing and playing sick.
4. just recently calling a guy who learned how to speak english 1 year ago "stupid" because the guy said "lebron is not a good defender"
5. etc.

I respect his talents and basketball abilities, but as a person he is :ugh2:

on a side note...why wouldn't i hate him, he's not on my team; therefore, he's the enemy. Unlike bandwagon fans, i have always been a bulls fan. I would go to their games even when they were a 19 win team.

Yeah, Bird, Jordan and Magic didn't do it themselves but didn't need a whole team behind them to do thier accomplishments.

Call it what you waat, I'm not insulting any Hall of Famer, but you cannot deny that Lebron WAS a FAILURE in Cleveland even when they had a players that supported him and that will be in the Hall of Fame like Shaq.

He had teammates in Cleveland, but he needs teammates of the caliber of Wade and Bosh and even like that I don't think that Wade should it take a second seat on the team.

Lebron just had excuses in Cleveland as he did last year. That is why people don't like him!

LOL so what? He still makes more money that any of his "dislikers" is one of if not the best player in the NBA, is on the road to get his first and maybe one of his many rings. If you still personally hate a man when he is on the path to sucess you are a failure yourself. point blank period.

:shakes head:

Calling someone you have no idea about a failure is pretty low in itself.

I already said of why I don't like him and that has nothing to do with basketball directly, therefore, basketball success does not change my opinion of him. If you read my pervious posts, you would have seen that I don't like him because I think he is a terrible decision maker and a bad example of what a good athlete and sportsman should be. He is blessed with great talent, but does not have discipline and maturity a 27 years old athelete should have.

It works both ways bud, hating on a nba player you never really met and only know his personality through tv is the same thing....:ugh2:

Yes but he puts himself out for the world to judge him, there is a reason other NBA greats, fans, media call him out for his actions. That's the nature of Professional sports, the athelets don't have much of a personal life and we as fans get to know what they are all about. He has a poor track record of decision making and as a result everything he does gets put under magnifying glass

At the end of the day man hes a great player, if you are a true nba fan, then you will put that aside and respect the man for his talents. I dont think you should let personal traits of a player overshadow his talents.

For example, Michael Jackson, love his music, even though people criticized him for a being a child molester or whatever I didn't let that infleunce my judgement on his musical talents, just becasue he was a child molester it did not make me see him as a bad musician. Similary, just becasue Lebron is cocky, a bad decsion maker or w.e. it shouldn't lead you away from the reason why he is great....because of his basketball skills. I hope you understand..

Rose being gassed is not a health issue. Last time I checked all players went through the same 82 games last year. If the team is not good enough and he needs to carry them that is not ahealth issue. I have to apologize since I was not aware Noah had a sprained ankle in last years ECF. He still seemed to play at a high level, I guess I will have to go back and re watch the games.
Omar was out but he is not pivotal to that series man. That's like me saying the reason we lost to Dallas last year was cause Haslem was not fully healthy. Come on now we are all smarter than that.
And if the entire team faded away on the spotlight then that does not speak too highly of the character of your players. This is the main reason people have been criticizing Lebron for since he dissapeared in the finals last year and waiting for him to get it done. Anyways I do not want animosity with Bulls fans I actually hope they reach playoffs healthy next season because it is much more enjoyable that way.

O.J. Simpson.

What is it you immediately thought of? The trial and murder. Thats what. You didn't even think of his career or accomplishments or that he was a hall of famer and set so many records for running backs in the NFL.

Bottom line is, I hope my kids don't look up to lebron, because he is NOT a good role model. Players who have accomplished less in the sport have accomplished so much more outside of the court. I'd rather have my kids look up to Rajon Rondo, Ty Lawson, Danillo, chris paul and blake griffin, and especially derrick rose.

Oh wait, Rajon has already accomplished more than lebron in the sport.

Lebron will always be the punk kid with too much ego from akron.

this is where you messed up man. i think you are taking this too personally(i dunno why. its a discussion of basketball) and when you are the first to resort to a personal attack of others, that tells me you may not possess the maturity required to engage in a debate/discussion about professional sports. I would like you to apologize for resorting to a personal attack of another member. As this is not the type of behavior we condone here at www.the370z.com

Well all the hating can stop to a degree. The whole thing I liked about the Lebron hate was the basis was on he guaranteed not 5 not 6 not 7. But yet on their first year of the Miami Big 3 he could not deliver and faded in last years Finals just like he did in the Playoffs when he was with Cleveland. With that said you have to give him some due in the fact that he had a hand in the Heat winning their first championship with him on the team. You can say a lot to try and take away from that fact but that fact remains.

Now OKC is a young team and have showed that during this series with several mental mistakes. And they can still play with the Heat with it coming down to the final possession to determine the game. They aren't going anywhere and I expect Durant to get his first championship in the coming years. Barring a miracle comeback and gets it this year of course.

I am hoping they can at least push the series back to OKC and make a run just like they did with San Antonio.

The MJ comparison is insane until the end of his career to see where he stacks up.

:icon17: very true indeed, they still have not grasped the nba finals floor experience. Miami has already been to the finals before, so they know what to expect. I like what Magic Johnson said in the post game rec cap, "Durant shouldn't take this loss as a means to quit, he is young and had plenty of time ahead of him, he needs to work on what he can do better, and get his team on the right path to victory to win a NBA finals win next year". Durant is no slacker though, he is averaging the same pts% as LBJ although in the post season (other than the San Anotonio series) that went down. I think the team def needs to have more offensive premise, I see westbrook and Durant making many of the shots. Harden and Sefolsha,(spelled wrong i know) need to score more buckets. Did you see the stats the other day for the team vs durant and westbrook?? They combined had 71 points, while the rest of the team, Ill say that again the rest of the team only had 27. Thats just unacceptable, especially in a finals series.
