McNabb traded to redskins

SoCo, are you an eagles fan? I am and i'm not happy about this at all, while he was a bit of an injury liability, he was our franchise quarterback and owns every passing record for the Eagles, i was pissed when I heard the news. He had a few good games, but I still dont trust this Kolb guy, hopefully he isnt a flop and turns into a decent QB.

I am an Eagles fan, and I am happy about this. He was never going to win a superbowl with us while he was being coached under reid. He isn't the type of QB that can handle passing 70% a game. His stats are biased as he misses low or overthrows by a ton and never seems to hit a receiver in stride. He's also very conservative with the ball.

I think one of the two needed to go, him or reid. I am hoping that now with a younger qb we can start running the ball more to help him, we'll see how that goes though.

For the record, I don't hate McNabb. I love shannahan and maybe he can pull off a miracle like he did with elway, even though i hate the redskins. Shannahan hasn't done good in the past few years (really since Elway retired) and the Redskins are still nowhere near as close talent wise to the Eagles (or anyone else in the NFC East for that matter). The redskins do not have an offense of line, and while they can now spend the 4th pick on a lineman...they still need more than one person to block for McNabb. Also they lack talent at the receiver position and McNabb always seems to get hurt for a few games a year.
