In a perfect world, yes, but teams get ranked at the beginning of the year (& through the first two or three weeks) based on their previous play. It will never happen, but I'd love to see polls suspended until week three & then rank teams based on their play. The result would be a fairer & more accurate depiction of who ranks where.

just like Auburn should have thumped Clemson... rank means jack and shyt when two offensive and defensive styles collide, as stated before, Jim Tressel even commented about how he was resting alot of his defensive and offensive starters for the upcoming schedule against difficult opponents, and in the end, a W is a W. Oregon has jumped over Boise State and Texas, Penn State and Southern California have fallen out of The Associated Press college football poll.

After beating Stanford 52-31 on Saturday night, the Ducks moved up a spot to No. 3 behind top-ranked Alabama and No. 2 Ohio State in the latest Top 25.

Boise State, which had been No. 3 since the preseason, slipped a spot to No. 4. TCU was No. 5.

Texas dropped out of the ranking after losing a second straight game, leaving the Longhorns unranked for the first time since Oct. 15, 2000. Their streak of 162 consecutive weeks in the rankings was the longest active streak in the country.

Ohio State now has the longest streak at 90 straight poll appearances.

Well my longhorns shot themselves in the foot and had over 100 yards in penalties. We kept a tally of passes, 13 actual passes, and 9 screen passes. Screen passes rarely got us any yards. Greg Davis is a moron, he needs to go now. I think our playbook consists of less than 20 plays.
