They didn't think of this when they all agreed to the cap last year? It's racing. Stuff happens. Always has, and always will. Crashes are part of the sport. I

I think this year it's a sensitive issue, as they are developing a new car to new rules, along with tweaking this year's car to tire changes, etc.
And paying for all their operations, still during a pandemic.
The cap is $145 million this year.
