Bad call for Kimi for sure. Ricci should have been penalized. Max Verst was simply coming in too hot and just a touch stupid. The press said he should own up to his mistake - total rookie mistake it was. Instead he is being a bit stupid denying it. Grosjean can brake anywhere he wants. Duh!

riccardo too, his odd move on raikkonen, and no penalty?? :wtf: is going in those stewards' mind?? basically riccardo just sneak his LF wheel into the ferrari and poke it then took the spot.... weird... weird.....

Yeah, I rewatched it and saw that earlier move. But he wasn't anywhere near as close to Grosjean though.

And that definitely should have been a foul on Ricciardo when he nudged on Kimi's wheel late. Terrible no call.

It was absolutely terrible driving by Max. He definitely needs to man up and admit his fault. Of course, trying getting a 17 year to admit fault to anything might be a bit of a sisyphean task.

Either way, it was entertaining.

Too bad it took, literally a rookie mistake to bring some action to the parade of tax dodgers GP 2015 :)

The cars are so fast now that Monaco is super boring. I say they should take the wings off or mandate some super low down force configuration next time. :p

The sport has outgrown Monaco. Its not close to being a viable track where an actual race can be done. Monza is having issues with money and paying the fee to Bernie after this year. Id love to see Monza stay, a real race vs losing it and Monaco remaining...

m4a1mustang 05-26-2015 02:20 PM

I feel like Ferrari would step in to pay the fee if they needed to...

Given F1 is almost the national sport, almost because of Ferrari it would be nice to see them step up. Will be interesting to follow after this years race.

m4a1mustang 05-26-2015 02:45 PM

Wish Bernie would stop being such a money hungry rat and focus on the health of the sport.

such a high speed track, it's gonna be advantage for the Mer powered teams!

unless it's raining then ferrari might close the gap but looks like sunny....

Kind of boring race, nice to see Williams on the podium.

On another note anyone ever been to the Monaco grand prix? I'm looking to buy tickets for next year and have some questions on best route to go, grandstand, balcony somewhere etc. Shoot me a pm.

Was at the circuit Friday for practice. What a great place. I recommend it as a good trip for anyone. Beautiful area and track. The anti-glam grand prix.

Was with Red Bull and Renault in the paddock. Spent alot of time in the Red Bull garage etc. Fun times!

Should be a fun race. Much cooler than normal and seems alot of drivers are just not getting it right -

+1 with the Ferrari weekend. How much longer will Kimi be there. I just dont see them taking the option year on his contract at this point. He is not showing a reasonable motivation. He knows it .......just his attitude on camera tell all.

I am not surprised if they won't renew his contract at the end of this year, or unless Kimi is willing to lower his salary, which I highly doubt he will.

Nice qualifying day in Silverstone. Windy a bit and tricky at some corners. The Squirrelstream is working well!

DLSTR 07-05-2015 04:33 AM

Nice and sunny at the track. Should be a good race. Can Nico gain the advantage at the start!!?? Hopefully Williams can keep the pace over Ferrari.

alcheng 07-05-2015 12:34 PM

what a strategy from William... :wtf:

it's a very difficult call.... Massa was clearly slower but Bottas wasn't fast enough to make a clear pass....

Eventually Massa held up the 2nd-4th and lost the position to... oh well....

had Bottas passed Massa in the early stage and he can get some clean run at the front... then there's should be a podium for Williams....

Only in the dry. The Williams has no rain pace. No matter the first stop from Mercedes was so well timed for the undercut for LH. He was unstoppable.

i thought Bottas could be at least 7 to 10 secs ahead of Massa before the 1st stop, thus at least he could be a possible 3rd...

LH.... yup, unstoppable...

Would definitely had been a different race without the rain. Williams could have still been in it, and Nico had a good pace before the rain, but .....LH unstoppable

Crazy race. I was yelling at the tv when rosberg's third set of tires were the mediums, WHY NOT SOFT. Ferrari had a great start, That's twice Mercedes has been smoked at the line. Overall most exciting race this year :)
