Where do you normally go for an oil change? (OC/LA area)

I have been going to the dealer for my oil change in the past because a tech that trust with my car. But i called last week and found out that he doesnt work in the same dealership anymore so i am wondering is there a recommended shop where you guys go for an oil change?

I am in OC/Fullerton area and the dealership is off the 405 so its about a 30 min ish drive for me. kinda dont want to drive all the way there anymore.

any suggestions?

do it yourself?

corner3garage in lake forest is the closest 'recommended' shop...but it's far away too.

Irwine isnt that far away, only a 20 min ish drive i think

Last time I got an oil change from the dealer they put oil all over my custom painted engine cover and strut bar. I was so pissed it has never been to a dealer since.

Corner 3 is your best bet and they are a forum vendor!

I bring my oil to corner3 as well. I think it's about $20 for filter/washer labor.

its not about the cost, but more about trusting some random tech with my car. i usually bring my own oil and filter and just pay for the service anyways.

not saying every tech will mess things up but better to be safe that sorry right?

Dealer oil changes are done normally by the biggest noob in the service bay

I would rather not have them touch my car if thats the case.

I can vouch for Corner3, they did my JRZ coilover installs, all SPL bushings, rear camber arms, toe etc!
One of the tech is a nissan master tech!
