I know. I guess my front probably is taken first before the plastic shield if I hit the bump.

You'll be fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

I kinda figured. I met him at the BBQ and we were kinda talking about it a little. Thanks.

EDIT: I kinda wanted to do install at Fontana Nissan though just so they'll have proof of it and it will be in their records...just so it won't be a hassle if I need any warranty work done.

^^ Not sure if you saw the edit
Also, I am finally broken in so it's time for my first oil change. I wanted first oil change to be nissan ester then switch to pennzoil ultra maybe or I can just go mobil.

Fontana Nissan is cool . Wish there are more dealers liked them. I saw Oil Cooler sales posted by them.

^ xdeslitx, I am still on nissan ester oil. Triple's is on red line oil. I would stay with the motor oil with ester additive. I might switch to Motul or red line.

honestly if your in SoCal....why would cold temperature be a problem...? Honestly that's my two cents, it'll NEVER be that cold to a point where you need to worry about oil temp. /thread now lol.

Anything below 70 degrees and my oil has a very hard time getting up to 180 degrees, without my cover plate over my oil cooler. Being as I am in Tucson, AZ. and have issues, I think pretty much every location would have issues in the winter months.

Hey XDeslitX, didn't you recently get your car? how many miles did you put on it? I was wondering when should I do my oil change also, I have about 700 miles on mine already.

Exactly 2 weeks ago... got about 1200 now
I'm going to get my first change this Saturday...mileage estimate for this Saturday is about 1350-1400

I was speaking with Scott from Fontana Nissan last week since I had about 600 miles on my car. He was saying that 600-1000 miles you're pretty broken in already and he also mentioned doing the oil changed around that range to flush out the metal shavings. I may be misquoting Scott(I tend to do that sometimes. Sorry if I am. I have selective hearing) Everyone has different opinions can't really tell you what to do with yours. Reading through the oil threads(veryyyy long), I still couldn't get a straight answer since everyone has different opinions.
