Since when? I was one of the 1st people to get the Stillen "race" oil cooler and mine did not come with a thermo-plate.

To the original poster...last winter I covered most of my oil cooler with a home made cover. Works like a charm. Before my morning temps would not go over 165. With the cover even with ambient temps in the high 30's my oil temp still reached 180.

The first couple of kits shipped without, I'd be happy to work an exchange with you, PM me if that's a concern.

Most won't need one, but there are certain times of the year, and definitely certain climates can keep things too cool.

My apologies, I was under the impression all customers had been contacted for the exchange.
