Haha is the rsx different from the other hondas? I have an integra gsr as my daily driver and i feel like the clutch engages way lower. I always need to take a few miles to adjust when i switch back to the z lol

If I wasn't busy every weekend for the foreseeable future, I'd probably take a drive up that way too. I'd love to get some shots of my car up in the mountains this time of year. Might have to wait for the fall color sadly...

Zensation 04-13-2014 08:46 PM

Sure... I think (?) :ughdance:

I'm shooting in Charlotte this weekend, then next weekend is the Grand Prix of Alabama down at Barber (World Challenge stuff). Let's figure out a good day for us after I get back. Brandon, you are off Sunday and Monday, right? So a Sunday would probably be our best bet...

Like meet up in the mountains or like meet up locally?

phantom370z 04-14-2014 09:50 AM

Frankly, I'm fine with the Bose setup. If I spent more time in the car and did some serious listening I might replace them, but as it stands now the Bose is fine for the listening I do.

HKYStormFront 04-14-2014 04:35 PM

Yeah I went the whole nine yards in my truck because at the time I did spend a lot of time in it and wanted to be able to jam on road trips :)

Would love to get out there again.

phantom370z 04-17-2014 12:22 PM

Anyone local familiar with the best place to put the BT mic for my new headunit?

djtodd 04-17-2014 12:34 PM

I used the visor. Insulates from wind noise better than the headliner

Picture?

HKYStormFront 04-17-2014 12:50 PM

I put my BT mic up on the headliner and yea, no bueno. Might try moving it down to the headrest and see how that is.

The headrest on the seat? That seems like more disassembly than I'm interested in.

I'm down.

phantom370z 04-18-2014 06:35 AM

So, if I'm never going to take calls with the windows down(which is the case), is the headliner really an issue? How about over near the A-pillar on the headliner, in that corner?

djtodd 04-18-2014 07:10 AM

It picked up a LOT of road noise wen mounted anywhere in the headliner for me. Even with windows up

Can you snap a picture of where you suggest?

djtodd 04-18-2014 07:13 AM

Not in town at the moment, but it's just literally clipped to the visor. I ran the wire up the a pillar and out through the visor grommet

Ok, I'll give that a shot then.

Zensation 04-18-2014 07:23 AM

soo i didnt read back far enough to find out what you are really talking about with the mic for your headunit but im assuming placement? But when I hadmy pioneer headunit in my first 370z i ran the wire up the back of the a pillar and mounted the mic on the top of the A pillar. It worked perfectly....Ill see if i can find pics. I did the same with my 350 as well
