yeah I was talking to phantom about that. I'm going home to NC this coming weekend and then I'm going to be either down in Alabama or at a race in Florida all next month. would like to get together later this coming week, maybe wednesday or thursday depending on whichever works best for everyone. i'm game for anywhere, just pick a spot :)

Greetings all!

New owner here just saying hi. Never thought I would be writing one of these but here goes!

If any of you have been or happened to come across S2Ki (S2000 International) you may have seen my name before.. or perhaps seen my work, parts or who knows what. I was very involved in the S2000 community.. was community organizer for the Carolinas for several years, moderator for several years, created a few things (Mulderized), hosted events at the Dragon and maybe even traveled to you to replace your soft top. You may even have a event shirt or two i created hanging in your closet or seen them on the ceiling of the Dragon's Den if you were an S owner.

All in all I spent 10 years with the S2000 community and met many great people that I still know today and made many more connections with vendors and the like. I purchased my first in 2003 (2000 Grand Prix White on the left) named "The Angry Panda" and my second in 2009 (2008 Berlina Black CR #77/699 on the right) "The Black Pearl".

After moving to a ... more congested area.. and ten years I felt it was time to change as the CR was becoming difficult to live with in hours of bumper to bumper and went to a 135i M sport.. 6MT, Le Mans Blue and Coral red.. aka the super man combo. Great car but I realized that perhaps I went too far away from the raw feeling of a sports car and was still pumping the clutch in traffic daily. Seven months later.. or two weeks ago today lol... I located a bargain with 15K miles and went for it.. although this time with the 7 AT which I am still getting used to..

2009 Touring + Sport + Navi and finally back in a white sports car (weakness I have). I will no doubt have a million questions and feel like a total noob. I can take an S2000 apart and put it back together all day but this is all new to me so please have patience :).

That said I look forward to getting to know many of the regulars around here and learning all I can. Perhaps even helping others again some day!

welcome MULDER! ClemsonWill, a prominent poster in this thread, was an S2k guy before he had his Z, which he recently sold. there's a good crowd down there in chucktown in this thread. hopefully they will chime in! they used to get together quite frequently

Please look up palmetto z club on fb when you get a chance. We have a significant contingent in and around chucktown.
Other groups would be carolina z club, based out of the greater charlotte area, and upstate z club, in upstate sc.

I would counter your offer with Tequilana, great mexican next to Butler/385, I will however conform to the masses. Is Paul joining us?

never tried that place, but i'm game. i can always go for messican food. i will text paul and geoff

So after all that talk tonight of not being able to sell the z due to low ball offeres a guy from charlotte called me and wants to offer 24k for car plus hks berk tps and intakes. I feel like that's reasonable hes coming to look at it Saturday. Maybe I will be getting into the isf after all. I found a site that sells toyota/lexus parts too and the isf parts aint bad at all. lets just say less than 370z parts! Im notsure what it is about the isf that i love so much the rarity or the power and sound or the luxury interior or a combo of all of it but im loving this car right now.

This almost reminds me of the mass exodus of prominent members on this forum back in late '10 to early '11 who sold their 370's and got new 5.0 mustangs. For a few months it seemed like everyone was jumping ship. One of them has come full circle back to a 370 now. Only difference is now some are ditching 370's for RWD V8 sedans :bowrofl:

Ill have mine until its destroyed. Even If I get another car, ill be gutting the 370z and making it a pure track car.

Welp I bought a jeep today. The guy coming for the car flaked :( guess ill be keeping it a lil longer anyway. its ok tho bc on the way to pick up the jeep i was in the nismo and this guy and his gf pulled up in a convertable next to me at a light and he was like whooooaaa thats F***ing awesome maaaann rev it up for me! made me smile a little :)
