chris went ahead and got the nexus today :shakes head:

they were having the extended batteries on sale from $50 down to $25 so we both went ahead and got them. comes with a replacement plate for the back to accommodate the new battery that looks just like the one that comes on it originally and it doesn't really add any thickness to the phone at all.

Rooskey 12-16-2011 08:23 PM

Dudes I just picked up a new Motorola Startak.. This thing is super small and bad arss.. I can text two people at once now, lol....

Hey I just got rid of my verizon 3g card and replaced it with an att&t 4g card for my laptop. Anyone else have att&t service. If so is it worth a crap. By combining everything with my business it saved me almost $200 per month so I figured it was worth it.

My nexus should be delivered in the next hour. And my friend brought me a fully charged battery so I can play with it as soon as it arrives. Winning! :icon17:

So far I'm really enjoying it.

Is any SC peeps going to the 'End of the Year Georgia Meet' tomorrow? I may/may not go...

Nice! I having so much fun with mine.

My buddy picked up the ext battery too. Can you really tell a difference? I know the rating is like 1850 to 2100 so it's not a huge difference but worth it if you get an extra couple of hours of standby time.

HKYStormFront 12-19-2011 09:40 AM

only had the "regular" battery for one day so hard to say. i will say that i actually like the feel of the phone with the larger battery. it doesn't really add much weight to it. i assume they went with the smaller battery to offset the 4G radio's weight and keep it as light as possible for spec comparisons to other phones but to me, it really feels like this is actually the battery that the phone was meant to have. it feels more natural to the size of the phone itself. i used my phone frequently all day yesterday and it showed 54% battery left when i plugged it in last night, that was attached to wifi all day with a live background no less. that's doing pretty good imo. obviously i don't have the 4G radio on though since we still don't have it here in anderson yet.

I was about to say. "All day and still had 54%?" But that makes sense with the 4g turned off. It drains the power. Get "Light Flow" from the market place. You can change the color of the LED for different things. Probably my favorite app yet.

HKYStormFront 12-19-2011 02:23 PM

yea i've already got it :woot: found that one on my bionic a few months ago.

Rooskey 12-19-2011 09:01 PM

Hey fellows does anyone know were to get OEM wheels for a good price. Tina has a 08
CTS and one of the wheels has a small hiarline crack causing a really slow leak. So in other words she just needs one wheel. Any help would be great.

HKYStormFront 12-19-2011 09:40 PM

for one wheel, i'd look on ebay and craigslist. might want to find out of they are staggered wheels and buy the right width if so...

Yeah I already have the spec's and part #.. Just looking for an aftermarket company or wholesaler that might save a dime or so. Stock from GM came in at about $350.

HKYStormFront 12-20-2011 07:55 AM

that's pretty cheap for a stock wheel honestly.

Ebay is definitely your best bet. There are individual wheels on there for $50+ and whole sets with tires for $400+. Good luck!

Did you ever get your Jeep?

ClemsonWill 12-20-2011 11:28 AM

Pulled up behind a silver Z with Cali plates today. Had some very nice step lip wheels. I wasn't sure if it was anyone off of here so I did want to try an roll up beside them. Anyone?

No not yet. I figured I would wait till tax time rolls around to put the camaro on ebay. If I didnt have so much money tied up in my commercial realestate I would keep the camaro and just sell the toyota. If it doesnt sell then once I get some renters in my buildings I will go ahead and get one.. Keeping my fingers crossed.. You coming up for Christmas??

Sounds like a plan. No, probably not until Feb.

Anyone snowboard or ski? I'm trying to get a few buddies to head up to NC for a day on the slopes. Probably looking at February.

Rooskey 12-22-2011 12:30 AM

I was thinking a day trip. All depends on my wife.

If I can talk her into leaving the baby for a few days, we might be able to plan something up in the West Virginia Mountains. I have a free cabin we can stay in. It's within walking (shirt drive)distance of 2 major ski resorts.

My_third_Z 12-22-2011 06:24 PM

I've never skied or snowboarded, but I'm down with trying. I used to be a good skateboarder.
Keep us updated on dates.

slm37 12-24-2011 07:26 AM

i used to skateboard a lot too until i realized my dreams of going pro were completely unrealistic and i started running. i've only been snowboarding a couple of times, but i definitely think it helps.

also, anyone know who owns a yellow coupe around the Charleston area with an aftermarket exhaust? passed one a while back and figured it was someone relatively young by the way they were driving.

everyone remember to stay in a low-gear and drive as much as possible. little more global warming, and i'll be able to keep the top down year-round.

XwChriswX 12-25-2011 12:25 AM

I don't ski or board, but I'm up for a snowball war... :p

Was playing airsoft with some fam members upstate and shot my cousin on the forehead and lodged a bb in there. Had to squeeze it out like a big pimple.

ClemsonWill 12-27-2011 11:49 AM

You first timers will have to get a lesson. I would love to have everyone go but I'm not spending all day trying to teach you. I've been there and done that with my wife and she wanted to curse me the whole day. :ugh2:

heading down to Charleston. classes start up on the 3rd anyway, so i'll have just enough time to recover haha.

stayed over at a friend's house for a party and managed to park in the ONE place that got turned into a swamp by a rainstorm last night. eventually had to call a tow truck after all attempts of digging it out and sliding plywood under it failed.

side note: ruining a lawn is not the greatest way to get to know a girl's father haha.

The good old mat trick? Like use your car mats for traction? Seems like that'd ruin them.

By any chance you have an aftermarket exhaust? Cause I was behind a blue 350 with black wheels.
