Hey Will those tigers looked awesome again tonight. With the points yall are putting up im sure its going to be a great game with the Gamecocks. Kinda got me nervous with yall averaging like 50 points a game, lol..

That's awesome news. Congrats!

Yeah, offense is tough but defense still needs to improve. Only real positive thing is that we are getting a ton of guys work so it should really help us next year. Going to be a great game in a couple of weeks!

There was a guy named Mitchell (I think) who worked at Boeing with a Silver 370z. He may have sold it though. I haven't seen him on here in a while.

I work right around the corner from there though. You may see me out at lunch around Tanger from time to time.

Well guys, I hate to say it but the Z is gone, sold it last Monday. It was really hard to let it go. Came to the realization that I dont have time for her anymore. This forum has been great, and some of the people have also been great. You guys will still have to invite me on the cruses.
I did start a new project for the time being until I figure out i want to do. Its a new 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubican. Its not Z but it pretty sweet ride. I am also selling my old wrangler if anybody is in the market.

The Rubicon is a nice pick. Especially in black! PM more details and price on your old Jeep. I may be interested.

Nice ride Matthew! I looked at the jeeps again the other day when Big O Dodge had me doing some curbing for them. Still love them but dont understand why they changed the rims. The 2012 wheels where so much better looking. Plus no more tan color for this model year, wtf you know. Either way nice looking jeep. BTW we are headed up to the mustergrounds off of hwy 130 on the weekend of the 17th. It would be real cool if you could join us for some mild off roading.

IMWEZL 11-09-2012 09:57 AM

All this talk about selling Z's :(

I thought about it few times and still do. More than likely I will just keep it and use for autox or nice days.

I do need a family vehicle though the GTI is just too small to fit four and go anywhere in comfort. I just love my VW so much that I don't want to part with it. That and I think new cars are overpriced. Maybe I will break down one day and get the new Durango R/T.

RedNismoZ 11-09-2012 03:44 PM

I would love to trade mine for a s15

I dont like the rims ether! I have a new set with some 35" on the way. Look up th color Dune, it will be released in a few months. Also they have really cool green out right now. The 17th is not good for me. But PM me the details and we will see.

RedNismoZ 11-10-2012 01:03 PM

We are headed up on late Friday afternoon (three ish), camping for two nights, and packing up on Sunday morning and heading back. If your off on friday and want to come up and ride a little and chill by the campfire thats cool too, but not much of anything is gonna be happening on Sunday. I put some 285's on my Chevrolet truck but it is still not really a good offroader due to the ground clearance. Since my son and I have gone to atv's there just seems to be more places to ride those around here rather than the trucks/jeeps. What lift kit are you going with? Also check out the JK-forum.com. Im registered on there too (same user name, but never on there since I never went through with getting one)
Call or text me if you can break free this weekend

Matthew 11-12-2012 06:41 AM

As for now I will be working, bit I will let you know if something comes up.
I am going with the Aev dual sport xt lift, or the Rock Krawler flex. I'm still in the reading stages and compareing. All the money from the sale of my silver jeep is going right into this jeep. So if you know anybody let me know, it priced to sell.

Cool. Yea Aev makes some really good stuff. Just make sure you get something that rides good on and off road. I was gonna go with 35's so my plan was to go with the terra flex 2.5inch spring kit, but do all the other stuff like track bars, lower arms, etc. to make it right and line up correctly. This was the best set up that I could come up with to make it ride like stock, and not be to rough and bouncy on the trails

Yeah, I'm going with the Rock Krawler flex with the blisten 5100 shocks. It comes with everything to smooth out ride.

Good deal. Bilsten shocks are good but non adjustable (good onroad performance but, ride like a brick offroad). Consider the Rancho 9000's adjustables. On road they are a beast, plus by turning them down they ride like a cadillac off road. I will never buy another set of shocks. Trust me these shocks are so good that you will never even know that your Swaybar is missing. Go with the krawler kit but save your back with the other shocks

Another one bites the dust. Sold my Z and I've got some parts in the Greenville, SC area.

Are there any SC meets coming up?

slm37 11-18-2012 09:00 AM

hope all has been well for everyone. classes started back up so i haven't been on in a few months, but i did find the time to get a JDM fog light, take the lens off, spray paint 370Z on it, modify the socket to support a dual guage bulb, then wire it into the tail light. not nearly as impressive as some of the mods i've seen on here, but what do y'all think?

The Big Game this weekend fellows. I know college football is crazy and always a toss up so what are your predictions on the score this weekend?
My prediction is S.Carolina 31 - Clemson 23.
I came up with this by averaging the past scores (Dabo vs Spurrier, era), but gave Clemson 10 more points due to their high scoring offense this season.
All we can do is watch, and to all a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Are you serious? Clemson averages 44 points a game. You are holding them to 23. Not going to happen even with Clowny.

I predict Clemson 37 - SC 31. And Spurrier goes down on the sideline with a broken leg. :rofl2:

I agree. Been to long since we all got together. I finally got the tenants moved in and now im slowly but surely getting moved into Tina's house. I should be slowed down and be available to meet after the Christmas holiday.

BTW I drove the Camaro tonite for the first time in almost a year. All four tires were flat spotted and it ran like crap for a little while. Im gonna get it out again tomorrow and fill er up with some fresh gas and fuel stabilizer. Tires are getting better the more I drive it and once I aired them back up to normal. I literally blew the tires off at 50mph in 3rd gear getting on the interstate!! I was like :eekdance:

not sure.

But I did see one of the Orange 1213 nismos in Easley SC this weekend. I resisted the temptation to stop and take a look.

Thats a given dude. She knew it from day one. Well since I have no house payment here I have to let her park in the garage. All the wall space is now packed with shelving and the second spot is all ATV's. I think I gotta deal worked out with one of my family members to let me park the Z and Camaro in his abandonded metal building garage. With kids running in and out and opening car doors I dont think I want my rides in this place anyway.
