Hey again guys. I moved back to Columbia for now.. eh.

djtodd 11-19-2013 01:54 PM

Hey guys,
Figured I'd drop this here too. I have a set of Nismo wheels/tires FS. There's a thread in the FS section.

I'd love to sell to someone local :)

tHe_NeXt_StEp 12-18-2013 07:15 AM

Spotted: Grey 370z, bronze rims (nice and flush), blacked out tail lights, exhaust.

Saw you next to Mellow Mushroom in Summerville @ the light. I was in a blue WRX Wagon.

The several times that I have been its only me and 2 other nismo 370's. We like to meet up and ride in together so if your interested in coming to the december show let me know!

370zGatorman 12-18-2013 04:00 PM

Hey guys, it's a sad day but I've got to turn in my Z in a few weeks due to medical issues. I wanted to post here as I'm in Shelby, NC and pretty near most of you. Here's the link to my sale thread which contains all sorts of stuff such as my fast intentions exhaust, JDM clear tails, car audio, etc. It's been great talking about my favorite car with all of you!

Did you ever do iasca or meca gatorman?

370zGatorman 12-19-2013 05:07 PM

Nah, never did those. It mostly sat in my garage due to working at home. My Z has 14,000 miles on it so it's a garage queen for sure. I'm going to try to sell it before mid january for sure.

Gadgetech 12-19-2013 06:59 PM

Saw a guy tonight driving a right hand drive 240SX (or at least that's what it looked like) on Pelham Rd around 5:50. Anyone here?

Yo, what's up everyone! I'm new to the Z scene in the area and figured I'd see how much activity there was around here, Greenville, SC.

tHe_NeXt_StEp 12-20-2013 07:30 AM

Spotted another one this morning. Route 26 in North Charleston, SC.

Red Nismo 370z. Gunmetal Rays and red calipers. I was in a blue Subaru WRX Wagon.

Tons of Z's down here. Love it!

there will be a cars and coffee at michelin the 3rd weekend of the month (saturday before MLK day, iirc) in january and looks to be an autox in clemson the following weekend (the 25th). i plan to attend both but i'm always looking for more Z people to hang out with!

phantom370z 12-20-2013 01:39 PM

I'm down to meet up sometime, I want to hear the FI w/ 18" resonators in person if anyone around has that.

HKYStormFront 12-20-2013 04:57 PM

FI is where it's at for good bang-for-buck exhausts. i've heard several different FI setups and I haven't heard one I didn't like.

djtodd 12-20-2013 05:46 PM

I'm in Simpsonville which is south of Greenville, not far at all from greenwood. I'll pm you.

djtodd 12-20-2013 05:48 PM

Sounds good. Btw the entire setup will be for sale soon. Will replace it all with the 3" FI kit along with the TT.

Hey Phantom370z, I'm in Greenville as well! I actually live in Mauldin but have a Greenville address. You should checkout the Upstate Z Club, great group of people. Home - Upstate Z Club

Let me know if you want to meet for a drink sometime...coffee, beer, whatever.

Is everyone staying close for the holidays? Maybe we can get together sometime over the next week. Weekends work best for me but what about everyone else? I'm open for downtown Greenville or really anywhere in the Greenville area. There are some places that serve a great selection of beer...that's really a priority for me if we are meeting out for drinks. I'm a beer snob...sorry.:ugh2:

I don't drink anymore but schedule permitting, I'm game.

Gadgetech 12-21-2013 08:27 AM

I'll suggest a couple places:

Mac's Speedshop
Carolina Ale House
The Nose Dive
Tupelo Honey
Mellow Mushroom

I might be game one night next week but it'd have to be late. I will be working 7a-7p every day over at the Bavarian Meat Wagon for the next couple weeks. Yay!

Gadgetech 12-21-2013 10:48 AM

First time I've heard it referenced as such. LOL. I thought y'all were closed during Christmas. I'm open, let me know.

Extreme Colors

This guy did my car and did a great job with it. He does a lot of work for the BMW guys as well and is one of the preferred people with the BMW CCA for the Greenville or Upstate group...whatever they are.

Doug uses Xpel - top of the line stuff. Let me know if you'd like to meet so you can see what it looks like on the car.

my understanding, and i may be wrong, is that you should not put a clear bra on immediately after it getting painted. the paint will need to cure and harden for a little while first.

Gadgetech 12-21-2013 02:20 PM

^ and with it being winter, that hardening time may be extended. I'd check with the person painting the car for their opinion.
