Kinda hard to tell from that pic but is it actually a burnt orange color? Nissan actually calls it Magma Red. Never new it to be an option. Looks like alot more colors are available for the Nismo this year. Not sure im in on the gunmetal wheels either. If I were to purchase a white one then I would say heck yea.

Yeah, it's burnt orange. I love the gunmetal wheels. When are you going to get those BBS LMs? I keep waiting! :stirthepot:

I still have those bbs wheels in the back of my mind for sure. Once I sell my house and recoop from the money I had to spend on my buildings to get the tenants in I may have the chance. Also considering the gtr in the future so may just keep the Niz the way she is untill I can make up my mind. Holla next time you come up. If we cant get away to cruise we can at least meet up for a quick drink or take the kids out for pizza.

Went through Easley today and saw that Nismo. Thats a weird color. It was overcast today and it looked to be a burnt red color or something. I wonder if its one of those paint jobs that change under different lighting. It definately didnt look to have any orange in it at all. Either way it looked sweet.

I met a new local to Charleston Z owner last night. I told him about our little section of the forum down here so maybe he'll join us sometime. I was on a first date and the chick was making fun of me for turning gay when I saw the Z and talking to the guy. Good times.

That's awesome. She knows she wants a second date. The Z is the perfect place for 2nd base. :bowrofl:

2nd base is good in the Z, but beyond that we're gonna need a bigger car!

Anybody around Sumter/Columbia area? I'm moving from Belgium to work at Shaw AFB in March. I'm shipping the Z out that way next month :)

Damn how much was insurance in Belgium for the Z? I had another chance to go overseas for an assignment but chose Texas instead.

Insurance in Belgium is STUPID EXPENSIVE. I'll just say that moving to SC will cut my insurance payment almost in half! I will be in the area in April.

Yeah I came from Korea to SC. I'll be gone before April. SC is a great area. You have access to several different motorsports, if you're into autox or road racing. Also. The people are great!

mike12002us 12-16-2012 09:31 PM

I was wondering if there were going to be any meets around the Charleston area? Im willing to travel also, just looking for people to talk cars with.

Anyone used pleasant details before by any chance? I just got a clear bra and tint done there last month. Love the clear bra but I will be going back there a 3rd time for them to fix the tint they did. $488 for a full ceramic tint and I still have to go back a 3rd time -_-

Might be cold this Saturday but cars and coffee usually kicks off at 0800

I haven't used them but I remember my installer having a tough time due to the windows automatically going up and down whenever you open or close the door.

Well I had a 2013 genesis coupe with the same mechanism and the tint costed $100+ less. A good tinter should tint well below the door lining, sometimes requiring a door panel removal. I just think its unacceptable that I paid that much for a skimped job. I can snap some pics later to show the tint curling on my front windows. It looks like the tint was rushed and barely tucked into the door.

Failed to mention the genesis tint came out with no problems

I'm down if the weather is nice. This weekend probably won't be the best for a big turn out.

This is why I have avoided getting my windows tinted. But I know a few guys who used Mr. Tint in West Ashley. They did a fairly good job from what I could tell. It wasn't that expensive either. Like $250 or something.

I just drove to Orlando and back last week to go to universal studios with the girl friend in the new Z and not a single complaint! It rained a good bit to on the way there. Girlfriend actually preferred the ride over her Honda CRV ^_^ tee hee:driving: The clear bra worked like a charm

Now we know why you were so concerned with your window tint. A trip that far, you have to have dark windows to conceal the road head! :rofl2:

Sorry, I couldn't help myself!

I like where you're going with this!!:icon18:

Hey do any of you guys have any advice on exhaust choices?

I currently have the 2013 nismo - looking to upgrade to something a bit "nicer" sounding for a lack of better words. I've been scavenging the forums but see a lot of different opinions. I used to have an ARK Grip on my Genesis Coupe that i really enjoyed. Decently deep, not TOO obnoxiously loud and def didnt drone a lot. It still sounded great when you pushed it though.

I'm really picking on fitment so i have been considering (both are around same price):

meisterschaft axleback only (can get asap lol)

and

Fast Intentions with 18" resonators (~2 month lead)

Thoughts?

Lol...in Korea the police have random DUI checkpoints on their back roads. While getting some road head in the Z they turn on all their checkpoint lights. I thought all **** I'm done when the patrolman laughed and waved me on.

Fast Intentions Exhaust for me and Clemson paw Will... Not that the others are not good, but the mass production of those just makes the elegant/cool factor go way down. I mean you wouldnt put a flowmaster on a ferrari would you?
