Ok cool. I'll ask around and make sure to find some good mountain lookout parking areas with some good views for some pics. If you have any in particular let me know. Im thinking caesars head then towards lake jocassee.

HKYStormFront 06-30-2011 08:45 AM

lakes can usually make for good pictures

I'm excited for the modding to begin! Next up, a set of wheels. I'm leaning towards the Vossen CV3. I think those would look awesome with the 1" drop I'm going to have.

Holy chit. That's an awesome order! Almost identical to my setup. Once you get all of that stuff installed we have to get it on the dyno.

I love the CV3s. Simple 5 or 6 spoke wheels is the way to go!

You are looking at about 150 miles (from downtown ATL) to the meet up spot. You and anyone else from the Atlanta area should definitely make it up. Get a hotel room on Mainstreet in downtown Greenville for the night (great bar and restaurant scene)

Im not exactly sure. You will probably want to take 85 to Hwy 11. 11 is one of the first exits once you come in to SC. from there it will probably take you about 45mins to an hour. Try mapquest or google.

Hey guys! off topic of the meet... but does anyone know a good shop in the seneca/clemson/anderson area that could paint headlight housing? Also, a good shop that does vinyl car wrapping? I'm looking at getting tail lights tinted and maybe vinyl on the fangs and rear valance etc. I've had tinted tail lights on my previous 2 cars I drove, but the Z tails are very curvy and the shop I used will not do them.

Thanks in advance guys!

daisuke149 06-30-2011 10:25 PM

I could sell u a set of already tinted tails!

There is a place in Easley that does the vinyl wrap stuff, can't remember the name, but it's on your left just over the bridgeright when you get to Easley off 123. As far as the headlights if you take them apart any bodyshop can paint them. I advise this is not for the weak. But is not as hard as it seems. I did mine myself.

864Zbeast 06-30-2011 11:25 PM

Thanks guys! Matt I will try to find the place in Easley.

Daisuke149 pm the price please! very interested

Whatever you guys want to do. I'm game for a cruise or we can just hang out and eat. Maybe eat then head over to the old navy base for some photos?

I'm lazy. I will have it done next week and hopefully the rims powdercoated.

864Zbeast 07-04-2011 08:01 PM

Matt if you get your rims powder coated i will have to see them! Been thinking of doing mine, but not too sure. I kinda want to keep my Rays stock and maybe get a set of nismo wheels powdercoated black...

My friend was gonna his camaro rims powder coated at vanguards in Anderson, and the guy told him it would take 3 weeks to complete...? That seems outrageous if you ask me!

Hello South Carloinian Brethren... I have a question for you guys.

I'm getting ready to separate from the military probably around the end of August. And I'm in job search mode. I am originally from the southeast (Georgia) and I miss my homeland. AZ sucks balls lol. And I was wondering if you know of any companies hiring or looking to hire people from word of mouth or in the paper etc. If so, I'd really like to get that info forwarded if possible. Right now I'm not too picky on what it is, the only real request I might have is things that are more towards afternoon/evening/night work as apparently the 9-5 schedule and myself don't really get along... (Long story :icon17: )

But if you guys have any info or tips on where to look or any openings I'd be really gracious for that. Thanks!

daisuke149 07-05-2011 03:35 PM

I know, but with not being able to readily travel to get to interview's and such, I would need a br0-reference to kinda get me in the door. And I really don't know anyone in ATL, plus after being in a big city for the past 10 years, I'd like to be somewhere a little more calm.

As far as carrer/job goes, I don't think I will be able to get a decent enough job starting out with my credentials, but as long as I can find something that will cover my bills for now, that's what's important.

daisuke149 07-05-2011 04:22 PM

I hear ya. what are your genereal credentials though. May help. Im personally not inside atlanta but to the north. Nice new part of suburbia with alot of parks/trails. 30-40 minutes from Dtown and 30-40 minutes from North GA mountains.

Plus the Carolina guys are pretty active. we need more active people down in the GA area.

I'd love to be in Georgia and north of ATL would be nice as well... I really don't have any credentials aside from military training (My job has zero specific civilian translation so I have to just forget that aside from basic nonsense that I can do before the military taught me) No degrees. But if properly trained I can/could do anything. Prefer 2nd/3rd shift if possible.
