i don't know of anything specifically but you are welcome to stay if you come over to the area and need a place to stay and for the next few weeks i've even got a 2nd vehicle so you could have a loaner  look in the greenville, sc area. that's a really nice place to be honestly, i wouldn't mind living there if it was a little closer to work

Pretty much anywhere in SC/North Georgia is open. I'm not picky when it comes to location...

But if properly trained I can/could do anything. Prefer 2nd/3rd shift if possible.

You ever work in a restaurant?

I'm guessing black.... gloss or matte?

That's a great price for powder coating wheels!

It is actually only 200, but I need to have them sandblasted first.
Does anyone know where I could get them sandblasted?

I'm getting ready to separate from the military probably around the end of August. And I'm in job search mode. I am originally from the southeast (Georgia) and I miss my homeland. AZ sucks balls lol. And I was wondering if you know of any companies hiring or looking to hire people from word of mouth or in the paper etc. If so, I'd really like to get that info forwarded if possible. Right now I'm not too picky on what it is, the only real request I might have is things that are more towards afternoon/evening/night work as apparently the 9-5 schedule and myself don't really get along... (Long story :icon17: )

But if you guys have any info or tips on where to look or any openings I'd be really gracious for that. Thanks!

If you dont like the big city you should really consider Greenville, SC. There is alot of plants and factories around the upstate that offer 2nd and 3rd shifts, and from some of my friends that work in them they say business is really picking back up.

Hmmm... That's the kicker for me, I could attempt a 9-5 but after spending 8 years with the AF trying to fight my bodys clock, I've found it's not going to budge so I have to find something that's within my waking hours...

What kinda factories?

Yea thats what im saying most Do offer 2nd and 3rd shifts. BMW, Michelin, Magna Drive, Addidas, Catipillar equipment, just to name a few plus there are numerous textile plants aswell. If you cant find an evening hours job in the upstate then your just living on the Obama plan, lol! Either way if your serious about the move you should at least pay upstate SC a visit. Good luck

I can vouch for Cwiz. He's a good guy and a long time active Z member. It would be great to have him in the area. Help him out if you know anyone looking to hire!

 Cwiz, don't worry about no specific experience. Many of these places hire entry level positions that pay pretty good.

Thanks for the offer. I'll keep looking in SC but I might have found something in Atlanta that is almost a copy of my job, but on the ground... so we'll see how that goes. If you do hear anything more though please let me know.

daisuke149 07-06-2011 10:23 PM

There was a 5 BR 3.5 Bath with full finished basement, 2 car garage, fenced yard and inground pool in the back yard for 180. Built in 2002.

: / i saw it too late. and this was in one of the better suburbs/areas too.

If you're looking for a solo house cool, if you want a roommate, I'd be interested in lower costs and a spare set of hands to mod cars.

ClemsonWill 07-07-2011 02:35 PM

If it's just you, get a townhouse. No yard work! If I didn't have dogs I would seriously consider moving into one.

As long as it comes with a garage, that would be fine.

Most townhomes around here have at least a 1 car but most have a 2 car. I would assume atl is similar.

Anyone in the low country know a really good window tinter? I'm thinking I might get the civic done first. If i like the work I may have the Z done. It's freaking hot!

Yeah, about the only way to experience it (without sitting in an oven) is this...
  • Take a heat lamp and point it at you on the highest setting
  • Take a hair dryer and point it at you on the highest setting
  • Drop some sand through the hair dryer

That will be a rough simulation :icon17:

Rooskey 07-08-2011 03:55 PM

XwChris that sure is smoking hot but atleast the humidity isn't that bad there. BTW how in the hell does someone have 31,000 post in a two years time. You must be glued to this site 24/7. lol!!

No our humidity might not be at 50-60%, but when it's 100+*F 2% Humidity just makes it miserable.

LoL And actually, that's with a lot of down time mixed in, and now the forum being retarded... It's not impossible when you break it down. My avg is only 43 posts per day, so you can do it too. (Don't forget, I don't even have the most posts here... :rofl2: )

864Zbeast 07-08-2011 04:58 PM

Chris all I gotta say is that is HOT!!! wow!

Guys I'm heading to Myrtle Beach tomorrow and will be there all next week, anyone in town??

ClemsonWill, I would like to come down to Charleston Tuesday, but I doubt I could. My friends brother is going down there to a srt4 meet next week haha.
