Yeah so that basically mirrors my setup, except I'm on square 275/35-18s or 285/645-18's and half a degree more front camber. I expect mine's a little more oversteer-happy than yours, but it's comfy...

Yup, probably just add a bit of front camber and caster, and maybe a thicker front sway (e.g. Hotchkis) and you'll be rid of the understeer.

I'm not so much worried about bending the weld, I'm more worried about the big square head of the jack crushing into other unrelated things (like the rocker panel or the stuff to the inside...

Yeah, I don't believe we get the target AFR behavior in open loop mode. Open loop is still really open loop. That said, surely it's at least somewhat influenced by the ECU's learned trims from...

So true! I really thought they'd take a few laps, but they totally didn't.

In my case, my "Guest Bedroom" has begun transforming itself into "Climate-controlled tire storage" :p

Sounds plausible. Now I just need to figure out how to reliably do that sort of work myself in my garage. :)

I have two blocks now anyways for better or worse, so I'll probably try to work out a...

Your points are well-taken. I have no doubt the math makes sense on a racecar. You lose a little tiny bit of throttle response and power and you gain reliability. It's also a spec engine putting...

Well, maybe Porsche's stuff they put on streetcars, but F1 cars, LMP cars, Indycars, etc seem to get by fine with a single nut. The design could be very different; I have no idea what Porsche does.

Single-nut hubs and airjacks start sounding appealing when you're trying to swap 4 wheels in the paddock and it's 95 outside and you're soaked in sweat and exhausted from a hard session :) But,...

Do you guys impact your lugs back on as well? I spend way more time putting wheels on than taking them off, and I suspect that's because I'm pointlessly wasting...

Could be that when you're headed down a straight at high speed (and thus don't really need any real grip for accel in any direction), the extra surface area and grip is just more "rolling resistance"...

That's true of a lot of things on the 370 and other modern cars, unfortunately. Same is true for the VVEL heads on our engine. They're not considered repairable at the dealership; any small problem...

I think (from what I gathered there) that those are some kind of bolt-on adapters. Kinda like a spacer, that bolts into your lug holes and the provides the center-lock. Ideally for a race car,...

On the other hand, I would hope nobody's seeing...
