I wouldn't say it makes the Z a 'beast'. I'd say it makes the car more responsive, and fun to drive around. Great mod of course.

The track down here is pretty sticky, managed mid 1.8x 60ft times if I tried hard enough. Could only manage 1.9x without a burnout.

Now I have the Southbend steel flywheel, iirc that one is about 21 lb.

I've been buying the inserts/refills for years and now all of the sudden Nissan decides to discontinue the inserts. I guess they figured out they can make more money selling the entire blade instead.

I had a jwt flywheel with a stock clutch for quite a while. It worked out just fine. Eventually took it out for a clutchmasters stage1 and replaced the CSC and CM.

Welcome to the club. Luckily a factory CSC isn't too bad, $100 IIRC. But then you have to drop the transmission and flush the system. ugh. I ended up replacing the MC at the same time.
