I find a lot of these posts funny. You CAN remove the factory nav unit and you might be able to do a single din below it while keeping the NAV screen; however, you would lose the Nav functionality...

That is funny as my Whipple kit has 1050cc injectors and starts up and runs smooth as butter. 0 issues with cold starts or at idle. Leave my car in out over night in 20 degrees and starts right up...

I still have the Nav unit but I would have to remove a ton of other wiring in the dash to allow for the opposite to be wired but from my understanding you would have to swap the entire cars wiring...
