Yup, I have seen all the FB post about knock sensitivity and timing. I don't believe that was my issue but I am going over my logs from the race tonight.

I might just build out this motor without sleeves (but with all the other goodies) and think hard about that billet block. I can keep this engine under 750 WHP and be happy for a while.

They have a 3 axis and they install sleeves everyday. He said the did the same sleeves on a VQ35 last year. No issues.

I know most people just keep the stock compression ratio even when rebuilding.

I agree, You cant put down all the power in first or second anyways. You need to control the boost in first, ramp up in second and full out in third. I will be investing after I rebuild my engine.
