For the VHR, there's only two options I know of, Motec and Syvecs, which means only certain shops. VVEL and dual DBW makes it a little more difficult....basically a huge jump from Ecutek/Uprev to a...

Old Datsun/Nissan hardbody would be cool. Besides this E30, they've already put them in a S30, Miata, and S2000. The DEs have been swapped into even more chassis, including a Sunny truck.

T56 has a huge aftermarket. I don't think there's even aftermarket synchros for the CD while the T56 has custom gearsets along with alternatives to synchros. I believe some of the fastest H-pattern...

Probably hard to find someone that's done both but any differences(both power and drone) between ART pipes/resonators at the front vs at the mufflers?

It won't do staged/ecu-controlled nitrous, at least on a switch. Where the stock ECU limits you is when you need more I/O(stock ECU is just repurposed existing I/Os, so still limited in that aspect).

Biggest understatement right there. Even some standalones can't run the VHR; VVEL and dual DBW causes the biggest roadblocks.

It wouldn't be the first time an open-deck engine is capable of power. A closed deck can be added via resleeving. I believe the record for a stock-internal VR30 is right around 600hp; so not too...

My buddy has a Supra that runs 9.8 on DRs(IIRC he's sub-600hp on E85). TBH, it makes sense to go Supra if you're wanting to go with an automatic transmission. I have a similar ZF in my Audi and...

TBH it wouldn't make sense to use Ti from a performance/value standpoint; you'd use Ti where you'd normally use a steel part but want to lighten it. Aluminum would be even lighter, easier to work...

I haven't heard of any updates from HPTuners for the 370Z but as far as I know, nobody has had any luck with it and if you look on their forums, there just doesn't seem much support.

Sub'd! Just wondering, the open source tuning will that have add-ons(like the old Honda stuff) or is just modifying maps(HPtuner/Romraider, etc)?

From what I've gather the Elites do not support dual DBW, but you can get around that with an external module. I do know they have VVEL tuning via the OEM VVEL module/CANBUS, so I'm sure they have...

I've seen way more tuners use ECUTek and Uprev for 350/370z's. Accessport offers ease of loading maps but that's about it; there's no need to flip between maps unless you're constantly changing parts...
