Well I traded the Z in for a new candy apple GT yesterday and honestly it just boils down to tradeoffs. I will say though, the Ford seems to be the better put together car imo. No high frequency...

I'm on my second transmission and they were both noisy bitches. Lots of gear lash and clutch noise.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.
