DSLR Shots and Discussions

Oh, and last question for now... I want to get right into portrait shooting after I learn my way around the field. Any good avenues to take to find models? I know it is a fine line between weird, creepy stalker stuff and fine portrait photography. Just want to approach it the right way.

I know people that use Model Mayhem. Craigslist is a bit hit or miss and a bit higher in the creep factor. The easiest place to start would probably be friends and family.

Also, not trying to critique your choices or anything. Just letting you know it's not always about having the most expensive gear and hopefully saving you some cash that could be better spent for what you're after. Seems like you already kind of made up your mind though. Either way, It's great that you're giving photography a shot.

Oh hey no worries. Not taking offense to any input. All is very much appreciated critical or otherwise. I get something in my head it is very hard to steer away. lol.
