So I found a used T4i with the 18-135mm lens at a local pawn shop. I haven't purchased yet, but what are the thoughts on it?

I don't think you're going to see a lot of difference between that and the t3i that you had. As far as the lens goes, most of the kit lenses are iffy at best. I personally think they are more overpriced than the L-series lenses as far as bang-for-the buck value.

I had a T3 before, no i. :/

Not sure on price, he said he could work a deal of course. Sticker read $615

I am back after an absence of a few months and the first thing I saw was an incredible butterfly shot from you.. Cant find it now but just wanted to say how great it was..

All this has inspired me to get off my butt and do some shooting so soon I will post a few things of my own..not the snapshots of Italy but some more serious thing but I just wanted to again say your are quite the wildlife photographer!
